I can't believe I got bored watching a drug fueled orgy of sleaze and ultra violence.
This episode felt a little "jump the shark"-ish
"Evolution is bullshit!"
Woah, what a setup, can't wait to hear the punchline.
"Why are there still monkeys?"
That's... Oh, wow. He just straight up doesn't understand the concept of evolution. Oh, okay, um.. Naw.
Just, naw.
I think this is the best adaptation of the Fantastic Four concept.
I know the purists will whine about the changes, but the original concept is just so steeped in 50's sci-fi cheese that it needs an updating. I like the grit of this. I like the idea that it took years to adapt to the Cronenberg-like changes to their body chemistry. I like the military trying to contain and control the heroes.
I admit, it was underwhelming in character development and there wasn't enough super-fight to please the fanbois, but god forbid you actually improve on a shitty property. Too bad all that setup is for naught.
Quite enjoyable film free from right-wing propaganda.
It's very one-sided propaganda. Funded by MRA and 95% of MRA ideas, views, opinions, and stories go unchallenged.
Daft Punk did the the whole "anime album" thing much better.
So.. Pill makes a guy super brilliant, but then he forgets to pay back the loan to the mobster. Then gives that mobster a supersmart pill. Then gives the mobster more supersmart pills. Then is surprised when the problem gets worse...
I hate to be cynical, but by the end when they were talking about how broke they were and how to donate, it kinda felt like this whole thing was a bit of an infomercial.
Hey, Brad Pitt's first role.
'80's TV movie about a prosecutor trying to charge southerners with reckless homicide, but the victimized Amish are weird and mysterious and won't help the law punish those who killed their baby. Silly movie where I learned about "claping" (pronounced "clay-ping") which is to throw rocks at Amish buggies because they are pacifists and won't fight back. Lots of townspeople argue that the baby-killers shouldn't be prosecuted because everyone does claping when they are young and it was just an accident. Weird townspeople. Perlman's acting is good, but this really isn't worth watching.
