Tremendous spells...
Ended in a great moment....
Seeing Wahlberg's childhood, and how his teacher supported him....
Well to look forward to....
Best episode so far, I much prefer the cute side than the mafia side of it, plus Porsche throwing a wood penis at Kinn was just sensational. Kim and Porchay's interactions are still awkward though
That last scene elevated this entire episode for me sawry I'm easy to please like that (seriously though it was beautifully shot, and the emotional beats were perfect idk what else to say)
I really like the dynamic and differences between the two characters. One is focusing on having the best time of their life while the other is so preoccupied on surviving their life (very similar to working a job and not doing fun stuff). I really love the themes here and the characters so far are awesome.
8/10
Save, there is only one possible way for a happy ending if Takamichi becomes the leader of Toman. Mikey is a fighting god but not stable enough to lead.
Wow that really was the worst timeline!
What? That doesn't even make any sense, how and why would he come to the conclusion that its all Mikeys fault? Unless he is bat shit insane...
I take back my comment on the last episode, the MC is now a man that deserves to walk among the Toman leaders and gang members cause he beat the guy that he hated the most.
This show is VERY entertaining. I am endlessly fascinated with anime’s ability to make a story out of anything. It makes for a more compelling contrast to typical Western fare, which rules out stories simply because they want to appeal to a mean audience.
Anime for me is like an anathema to this... The strangest and most outlandish stories are made into gripping drama, laughs, tears, emotional growth... and it could be a show about ANYTHING.
At any rate, this has been an entertaining six episodes. The writing is good to keep me very much keen to see what happens next. These little punk boys are one of the best stories I’ve seen this year.
I want to see Takemichi’s rage crumble in the next episode, and still manage to keep his immediate goal from falling apart. I also like how every episode manages to advance to overall plot just a little bit more. I’m also amazed how much damn story they manage to fit into 20 odd minutes.
On with the story!
Good end to the season. If it weren't for the poor management that Mappa's directors had, it would be the anime of the year
The lack of time was noted and how the animators were being overexploited
anyway a 10/10, congratulations to the staff
So adoption doesn't exist on Thailand or what?
He was my favorite character, it's so sad they turn him the bad guy but tbh this episode was better than the whole season so far!
Excellent premiere! This is the first time that I didn't get bored with any scene watching a BL Drama! Every actor was good and I like all the characters. First time a serie doesn't get boring with all of those childish scenes, this is way more mature and with a really good plot.
Kyouka's part was bittersweet. Atsushi's gave me mixed emotions: guilt because I played down his character's trauma, irritated because the headmaster's intentions does not justify his abuse- Atsushi is who he is (strong and kind) because he consciously makes the decision not to inflict the same pain he never should have experienced in the first place! I really felt for him and all the complicated emotions he felt though- he has a right to feel every single one of them, although acting on them is a different matter altogether. I hope he eventually finds inner peace in his own time and manner.
I like how this episode is a parallel to the pilot, and how the answer to this mystery can actually be figured out from hints dropped throughout this episode and what we already know about this series's lore.
AHHH so much fun! A bevy of entertaining moments, and moves the plot along enough that I'm excited for the finale (?!) next episode…
"Why don't you stand up for yourself? Make your own plans?"
"Oh I am, but rescuing me makes him so happy."
"But rescuing me makes him so happy"
That was the most awkward and most delightful ball, ever! Everyone was so charming and lovely. I can hardly believe they do not have any more source material to go on with, as this season is just as fun and entertaining as the first. My favourite episode of this second outing, so far. David Tennant and Jon Hamm are absolutely wonderful in this.
I loved that moment they had underwater :}
For real how this anime is so great like this!!
literally everything about it makes me crazy bc it's totally perfect!
although it was sad episode but u can see how much the drawing was perfect, and the storyline and how he became bad guy bc he just couldn't forget what happened
really omg..
The book didn't have this level of detail for their relationship, I am so glad we are getting a continuation on the source material. The growth of these characters is great, everyone loves a gay dad progression - here's to the shared car.
Nate, you did NOT just call Fiona by her last name.
ineffable husbands to ineffable dads. we love the growth
Akane ??? Nah it's Ai 2.0 , literal chills
Damn, Aqua was really left starstruck at the end there. I like the happiness in this one, though that scene near the end creeped me out.
8/10
BRENNER IS DEAD LETS PARTYYYYYY
i stopped hoping for anything with this show just bc of disinterest but well when i do... the writes just keep doing the opposite, mainly i think bc they love keeping the OGs (i mean the characters who are here many seasons, not from beginning) the longest they can so they drag and drag everything with unnecessary drama to after many seasons finally get them together. I'm sure they gonna drag down the Jo/Link relationship as they did with Owen/Altman (never fan of them but the will they/wont they were their only nice moments even dragged to eternity for it being boring as hell just the second they got together), I wanted sth fresh. Jo had a nice chemistry with the patient although it already started to be a little too much.
I soo miss Andrew DeLuca. I cannot fathom who can like Nick, he is so blant.... maybe its just really Mer getting older and I cant understand but the last time she felt alive was during the good times with Andrew :(
Also, the plane scene was funny for me bc i completely didnt get PTSD from the great plane crash of GA bc i didnt care about any of the characters in the plane. They made me disinterested in my last light in the tunnel which was Amelia.
That's shocking for me to say but I'll be watching the 20th season for the new guys. Adams is cute and the Reign actress with my fav Shadowhunters character? I need to see more of them. Tho they seem to lack depth in comparison to the wedding girl which has the most screen time i think.
According to manga readers, this is where the real story starts.
I've been loving this show for the energy and the characters. It just unexpectedly kicked into ultra high gear. I'm scared, I'm angry, and I'm glad Denji kept it in his pants .
