I'm not sure why I like this movie so much. Maybe we all feel like Elliot sometimes, and wish we had a chance to change our lives in a blink.
Or maybe I like Liz Hurley in a red dress and am a sucker for a feel good ending.
On thing is for sure, this movie has aged well, and is just as watchable almost 20 years on.
The good: An appealing protagonist. Good visuals.
The bad: A lackluster and uneven script that starts out incredibly slowly and takes a VERY long time to get any traction. A soundtrack that, with only a couple of exceptions, is full of instantly forgettable and lightweight tunes.
