That was not planned .
AEW's PPVs have been a home-run everytime until now. What a shit show. The only good thing was Christian vs Copeland. I need a break now.
Quintessential holiday classic…might just make it a yearly tradition. Giamatti masterclass
WWE marks and Cornette will never admit it but AEW isn’t garbage. When the matches aren’t bad. Though most of them can be completely random.
There is plenty of good things at the moment.
Toni Storm is hilarious. Roderick Strong shows more personality than he ever got show in NXT. The Devil angle is the best thing they have going on. Though it can easily end in disappointment like the Aces & Eights in TNA.
You also have Christian who possibly doing his best work as a heel ever. Though Christian and Copeland should be working with younger talent, not each other.
Christian especially feuding with MJF would probably be even better of a mic war than MJF and CM Punk.
Really enjoyed this one. The visuals look great, music was perfect including the sound effects. The story is good, and you will root for the characters (that even change and progress as the story goes). Godzilla is scary and menacing. I can't think of anything I did not like. Can't wait for a streaming release to see it again.
Historic episode of raw. The viper and the most polarizing figure of his generation make their return The industry is hitting a new golden era with the star power up and down the roster. Cherishing this time wrestling for sure
Ooooh yeah we are in the endgame now.
My prediction for the show finale is that Vic kills Shane and finally goes away to prison.
The hook for this show isn't the financial misdoings, but in the same vein as House of Cards, this is a show about wielding power and leverage. The fun is in watching the characters finding angles on each other and exploiting them.
Hopefully the fun continues. The acting is good, the characters are compelling and the financial industry is a good enough back drop to provide interesting storylines.
Overly dramatic? Yeah at times.
Bits of slow pacing? Sure I’d say that.
A poetic and nightmarishly atmospheric story that’s stood the test of time because of it’s universal themes ingeniously executed by the truly extraordinary performances? Absolutely.
