How this piece of silly slapstick won so many awards andfascinates so many people is totally beyond my understanding. A highly overrated movie.

this was like an Asian Shameless. very well done, great acting, great storyline. I didn't have any expectations watching this movie, but I was definitely pleased.
God, I hated Becky so much. I couldn't enjoy the fact she was a little psycho who kicked the ass of 4 grown, criminal men. I can't tell if it's the actor or the development of the character. Either way, it ruined a kinda cool, very scary premise. Nice to see Kevin James doing something different, though. Also, this story leads fucking nowhere, and I hate that.

If you want to see Joaquin Phoenix dance and laugh for 2 hours, this movie's for you. In all seriousness, a beautifully shot cinematic masterpiece, that shows exactly how an origin movie should be.
