I don't understand point of printing their own money. It is still stealing, do they think it's not stealing?

@jmant From a technical POV they are stealing from the EMU and not from "the people" which is what they are counting on to be an important factor in the public eye.
As they are printing their own money right at the source, it's a bit like downloading a digital copy of something: It wasn't there before and no one lost something. It might devalue the original though.
So let's switch to an economic POV: at the end of 2017 there where more than 1,124 billion Euro around; which means 2.4 billion Euro is less than a quarter percent. It is quite a sum, but it won't make a reasonable dent into the currency of the economy of anything really (assuming they don't spend it all at once).
And therefore In the end no one is loosing anything. The plan was quite good. Till two cops got shot. Though they might still turn it around in the public eye.
I'm surprised how much I want to watch this.
After watching the pilot episode on YouTube I can't help but have great expectations.
It seems to be great. I hope I am not wrong.loading replies
