Don't know how I got sucked into this, but I am! The second series was definitely better than the first, and although I'm ashamed to admit it, I'm desperate for series 3 already!
I absolutely loved this, I literally cannot wait for series 2!!
Gutted that this has been cancelled!
I enjoyed it, but the ending came very suddenly, almost like they didn't get chance to film the final few episodes! The (lack of) ending kind of ruined it, and brought my score down from a 9,to a 7.
I've just finished binging this on Nowtv, really liked it. I wish there was a second series!
I'm surprised there aren't any comments about this programme. Please, someone comment me back so I can talk about it with someone :)
I thought it was ok. I only watched it cos Aisling Bea was in it, and she's usually great, but I don't know that I'd bother to watch it again. It killed a few hours.
Hadn't read the book, didn't really know anything about it, but I loved it. Gutted there isn't going to be a series 2 :(
It kept me hooked the entire time, but man it was frustrating to watch, especially with knowing that it was based on a true story. The justice system in this country is so messed up.
It says this is a drama comedy, but honestly, I think they forgot the comedy element. It was dreary and depressing, and I didn't so much as smile during it, let alone laugh!
I found the timeline in S2 so confusing. For that reason alone, I can't rate it as high as S1, because I had literally no idea when things were happening!
Anyone know if Alice Felgate broke her arm in real life, as she's wearing a cast throughout this series?
I liked it! Kept me guessing right up till the end!
I know I'm being lazy by not just googling this, but does anyone happen to know, is this based on a series of books? The author's named eludes me, but I remember reading a series of books a few years ago, which followed the life of a (I think, newly appointed) coroner called Jenny Cooper, only it was set in and around Gloucestershire and Cardiff UK, not Canada...
So excited for this series, the 11th can't come quick enough! Molly Windsor is a fantastic young actress, she's been great in everything I've seen her in. Katherine Kelly is good too, so the series should be as good as it sounds!
I was really disappointed with this, seems like they crammed all the good bits into the trailer!
I LOVE this programme, anyone else enjoying it as much as me? I need to talk about it!
Three words. Heartbreaking. As. Fuck. When I first saw this in the TV guide and thought it sounded good, I had NO idea how much of an impact this programme would have on me. I actually cried at some of it, and I never cry, I can't even remember the last time I cried at something on tv or in a film. But I had to see it through to the end, and I'm so glad I did. The actress playing Holly was brilliant, I remember seeing her in The Unloved several years back, and that had a similar storyline, and the way she does that "dead behind the eyes" look, just like she did in The Unloved, is amazing. It's like you can see into her soul.
This was surprisingly entertaining. Definitely needs a sequel though!
How on earth did Ferguson get hold of a passport photo of Vera’s baby?! Seems unlikely...
I've just watched this for the second time, and I enjoyed it just as much. Though I think I'd like to have seen more on Nina's story
Seriously disappointed in this film, it was pretty good up until the last 20 minutes, where they left every single question unanswered, and ruined the whole film. No mention of who the person in the open house was, or of their motives! Absolute rubbish.
I enjoyed this, in that it kept me in suspense and I was desperate to know what happened next. However, by the end I was a bit disappointed, as there were a couple of glaring plot holes and questions that weren't answered. The ending felt kind of rushed, and for the sake of about 10 extra minutes, maybe even 5, they could have tied it all up a bit better, without leaving us wondering X, Y and Z.
Not sure why everyone's comparing Lou's character to Liam Neeson's.
I think it was a good film, kept me interested even though I wasn't paying full attention at the beginning of it, and had enough twists and action to keep me entertained, without being too OTT. And it was nice to see Allison Janney in an ass-kicking role!
I absolutely love Julia Garner, but I'm sad to say I found this a bit boring :(
I'm probably being thick here, but I didn't understand the ending! Can someone please explain?!
I was expecting a lot more from this. Very slow and boring, it finished and I was left thinking "wtf".
I don't know if I'm just being thick or what, but can someone explain why the two sunbathing girls were laughing at Alexandra Daddario's character? What did she do that was so funny?!
It was pretty rubbish. The best bit was Iwan Rheon's character trying to shoo a 90% dead fox out of the kitchen , the rest of it was just dull.
Omg. RIP Jonathan. What a horrible way to go!
