“ - Jane Smith: Any last words?
- John Smith: The new curtains are hideous.”
Simply amazing. So fucking funny. Like laugh out loud funny. And the chemistry in just 6 episodes was off the charts. Love it!
2 hours of comedy and entertaining action wrapped in a love letter to all the stuntmen
I'm really positively surprised at how well this mini-series was executed and the incredible amount of people who actually came back to do it. It was nice to experience the Gilmore Girls atmosphere yet again after such a long time.
This is a faithful continuation of a show I loved to watch when it originally aired and I enjoyed this short ride just as much (yes, even though I am a man :P) despite some tiny issues.
Really f-in’ good start. Love the cast. Love the erie cold desolate gritty setting. It’s hard to nail down exactly why it is but this show is just better than the rest. I guess it’s all of it. It’s just good without being pretentious or calling too much attention to itself,
Wow only a 61% rating and it hasn't even been released yet. It's so bad people from the future built a time machine just to travel back to warn us!
I'm half tempted to give this full marks just for daring to play Radiohead's Everything in Its Right Place during your typical military in dropship scene. Anyway my boy Gareth knocked out another cracking piece of scifi. You really don't mind when a director takes a few years off and comes back with something like this. There's certainly a fair amount of Rogue One, Blade Runner and Terminator in the mix, the latter of which he takes the Judgement Day plot and turns it on its head defying expectations where I assumed it was going just due to the tropes of the genre.
There's also a lot of stuff on screen for 80mill in comparison to other recent effects heavy films. Gets you wondering if budgets elsewhere escalate to $200 mill mark due to talent demands or that something like this has less behind the scenes VFX artists but take longer to bake? I dunno. Either way, check it out. The trailer gives too much away (as always my opinion) however there's plenty more that isn't shown.
NB. Watch out for the Scarif Easter egg
Take a scifi pillar and destroy it like one of Trantor's space elevators. Awful butchering of the story.
Daneel is not. genderswapped is fine, but he's unmasked immediately and is made into a weakling
Dors Venabili---gone
Hari is no better than a kidnapper
Reych...kills Hari what?
Pretty trash is still trash.
Beautifully shot but writers have butchered the characters, really disappointed.
pretty bad for the moment
Don't waste your time, sure to be cancelled. I'm done with this it's just not worth my time.
Please god no! DC stop giving cw the green light for these stupid shows
I was smiling the entire movie. The level of detail and care that went into this film is incredible. Tributes from the first game to the last mario game. Yes, it's a children's movie, yes, the screenplay is not a masterpiece and yes, you will like it more if you are fan of the games. But it's a fun ride from start to finish.
Many similarities to the 2016 tv series "The Catch"
Another case of misleading trailer, this is absolutely not a thriller. The trailer made it look a lot more eventful, it's actually a veeeery slow-paced drama. It's not bad, the message is very important, but it's just very flat.
I'm not a big fan of Matt Smith but let's hope he's good in this
I was close to stop watching the show after the first three episodes. Everyone seemed to be a self-absorbed rich asshole, the show itself seemed to be going nowhere. But I'm so glad I didn't stop watching. Episode five was the first one where I thought "Oh, maybe it isn't so bad after all." It only improved afterwards. With all the schemes, backstabbing, and generally horrible people it's basically Game of Thrones set in 2018 New York. Succession is probably the best show on TV at the moment. I can't wait for season two.
starring Sebastian Stan as Armie Hammer
Ok someone has to say it, the goofy dancing, the serious faces, the music ... those title credits are the best of every episode ... I love them!
Quite a good send-off for a great show. But I would highly advise avoiding episode ten and letting episode nine be your series finale.
It's sad that cancelled shows tend to have better finishes than shows that get the opportunity to 'properly' wrap up their stories.
Mostly okay, but too much airtime given to egocentric youtubers and their conspiracies that are only interested on themselves and being the ones finding the truth to be the hero, instead of honoring the memory of the victim.
Those people haven't done any good and caused harm. Why giving them this exposure ?
Beside that, there are interesting and caring people giving great inputs.
I don't know, this could have been a good work about mental health but instead it's wasted trying to be a thriller show.
I'm a simple woman, I see Matthew Goode, I watch.
great but why is it a weekly release? The show, so far at least, is written for binge-viewing.
It was nice to watch, but you can see there is much more of a story and they needed it to keep it short. It would have been better as a 10 episode mini serie. More backstories and showing different characters and there powers. The effects where nice, but has gone too quick to wrap it up.
Best movie ever!
It became a tradition to watch this every 5th of November. By far one of the greatest films ever made, must've seen it 8 or 9 times by now, always blows my mind. If I could rate it 11, I would.
ah man. that twist ruined everything .
