One of the best comedies on TV up until about season 12. After that they went overtly political with very weak straw man jokes. The writing got lazy as they all seem more interested in their other projects.
Downey represents himself as a car guy but in this show he doesn't design them or build them. He's a rich guy who likes to own unique things just so he can be special. It feels like he only owns these cars so he can say he has something nobody else does, which can be something worthwhile in it's own right but he always destroys something special in the process. He takes running, mostly rare, restored classics and cuts them up to the point they can never go back to the original. Why not use an example of a car that wasn't restored or running and modify that? Not a car guy.
