the plot of this show stopped making sense a while ago, but i'm so enjoying the gayness of it all, and it's obvious they have a lesbian in the writing team because no straight could make the bend it like beckham joke.
that being said, i would really like for the plot to get better again, but i'm feeling like they don't have many ideas left so they're just gonna wing it for as long as they can make it last
I'm really trying, but I just can't seem to get invested in this story or the characters. And the actor choice for Superman still really bothers me. I can't see him as Clark Kent.
FINALLY SOME EMISUE CONTENT. this season has been quite boring, the plot that I couldn't care about and zero romance. But this episode is so good. Actually, I kind of expected this entire season to go like this, with romance and all, and I was quite disappointed with every episode except 2x04 and this one. 2x04 had a good plot, and this ep had romance.
I won't have high hopes for s3 like I did with this season, cuz I don't want to be disappointed again. But at least this episode lives in my mind rent free.

Ok while this plot twist isn't ideal, Ruby Rose wanted to leave the show so you can't blame them for killing her character off (if Kate is even dead), cause it's not like they had much choice.
That being said, I love the new Batwoman character, she has depth and a very interesting personality, and I'm also so relieved that she's also a lesbian bc I was scared they're gonna replace Kate with a straightie. So sad for her mom tho, but I guess she needed an origin story and that's usually a death of a parent.. talk about an obvious trope but I'll roll with it.
While I like Rachel Skarsten since Lost Girl, I never liked Alice and tbh she served her purpose and is boring as hell so I hope this "new storyline" she has won't last too long.

While I absolutely support what Maggie said about black girls being in more danger than while people and nobody doing anything about it, the part of her speech about how COVID is killing black people at a bigger rate than white people, and how if it was the other way around everyone would be wearing masks as it would be mandatory to protect white people, it made no sense.
Sometimes, Americans forget that the rest of the world exists.
As a person from a European country where literally almost everyone is white, let me tell you that COVID is killing a lot of white people and still nobody wears a mask because people are just stupid and don't care about anyone's wellbeing but their own.
i have enough of covid all around, i really don't need it on my shows as well ughhhh
