The Chronicles of Narnia series of films is based on The Chronicles of Narnia, a series of novels by C. S. Lewis. From the seven books, three were adapted —The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe (2005), Prince Caspian (2008) and The Voyage of the Dawn Treader (2010)—which grossed over $1.5 billion worldwide, but suffered a gradually declining critical and commercial reception with each film.
The series revolves around the adventures of children in the world of Narnia, guided by Aslan, a wise and powerful lion that can speak and is the true king of Narnia. The children heavily featured in the films are the Pevensie siblings, and a prominent antagonist is the White Witch (also known as Jadis).

The Addams Family started as a Cartoon in 1938. A TV Sitcom ran between 1964 and 1966, and a TV movie with the same cast in 1977. A 1991 American fantasy comedy film directed by Barry Sonnenfeld was followed by a sequel in 1993, with a TV cartoon in the intervening years. A 1998 film was a soft reboot with a different cast, which led to a short-lived live-action TV Sitcom shortly after. A CGI Cartoon Feature Film rebooted the franchise in 2019.

Rick Jaffa & Amanda Silver's reboot/remake of the Planet of the Apes inspired by news articles on apes raised as humans and advances in genetics. Jaffa conceived an idea for a film about a genetically enhanced chimp raised in a human household. The film series focuses on a chimpanzee, Caesar who when given a substance designed to help the brain repair itself, gains advanced intelligence which leads to an ape uprising.
