In the second part of season 2, the writers completely lost it, the show is full of shit.
For example, in episode 13 this happens:
adult Mara gets married.
young Kate loses her virginity.
young Lisa-Karen got struck by lightning while taking the trash.
adult Kate cheats on her fiancée, Johny pushes and crushes one testicle of Kate's fiancée Theo which breaks up the engagement after he caught her cheating.
Johny says "I love you, marry me" and Kate accepts a few hours after she cheated on her ex-fiancee.
old Tully and Kate have an argument at Kate's surprise party.
young Cloud yells at Tully's co-workers, making them sheep.
old Cloud has words of wisdom for young Mara.
HBO did a very good job with the show, the visuals, the atmosphere, they are all top notch.
I liked that the show focused on the story between Joel and Ellie, but I would have liked to a few more scenes with infected, the ones that were added are really good.
Hopefully the second season would be as good as the first one.
A great show that makes you feel good while you watch it, Ted is full of positivity that somehow transcends the screen.
I like Roy's attitude towards everything :100: He's there.. he's there.. he's every-fucking-where.. ROY KENT! ROY KENT!
Really good war drama revenge story. I was not expecting the end on the boat, that Ben was also involved in the initial plan, given how much he's helped him after he returned.
This is a really great show.
Gary Oldman has a top performance and an even greater attitude :laughing:
Do yourself a favour and don't watch this, it's not worth it.
This is a great show, it has drama, action, some comedy and the acting is pretty great.
I would have liked two things to happen: more screen time for Robbert, SWAT leader, I liked his no BS approach to situations and that Mitch didn't die in the first episode, rather be in a coma then slowly recover and show some interaction between Mitch (old mayor) and Mike (new mayor).
Season 5, episodes 1 to 6 were very good, the same like seasons 1 to 4, they were funny, captivating, made you love Dory, then question her motives, they were quirky and weird in a fun way.
But episodes 7 to 10 were very bad, like the writers took acid while being high on LSD and thought "how can we take this series over the top, what can Dory do to ruin her friends life?", and they ended up with zombie apocalypse.
Also, they were a lot of side stories that seemed to have no development or impact, like Elliot's kid, the Spencer society, Chantal's mentor.
Overall, a great show to watch, despite it's quirky ending.
