Really funny show. Season 1 was the best one, and season 3 was too short, but overall the show was great. I loved how meta it got at points. Worth a watch!
If you are looking to watch this for historical accuracy, don't. The show takes many liberties with real historical figures. What was interesting for me as a history buff of this time period was trying to guess how the writers would change the real story for their teleplay. But it does make for good drama. If you can get past that, this is a fun show. The production values are still strong from The White Queen and The white Princess. I always enjoy seeing period piece costumes and settings. I am definitely interested in seeing the second season of this.
The White Princess is about as good as The White Queen. First, after watching The White Queen, you have to adjust to the new cast, since many of the same characters are present. But, I also like to see different actors' takes on familiar roles. I feel that this part of English history isn't very well-known (at least to me as an American), so seeing it come to life and learning about the conflicts of that time period was very fascinating. Excellent costumes and production design. Loved it!
Not exactly the most historically accurate mini-series out there, but it is based on historical fiction. Regardless, it is very watchable and entertaining. Even if some plot points aren't accurate, I still learned quite a bit about this time period. Only criticism: the main characters weren't aged enough from the beginning to the end. This spans almost 20 years and in the last episode, most characters still around from episode 1 still looked the same. This is just a minor aspect, however, that did not take away my enjoyment of the show.
This show, all 3 seasons of it, is a total blast! I have really enjoyed watching the kids grow up and their friendships develop. There is something in this show for everyone: humor, horror, coming of age, mystery, relatable characters, science fiction, etc. Do yourself a favor and watch it!
My mom and I both adore this show! It is absolutely hilarious and has some of the best comedy acting I've seen. The story is always moving forward, and I also like the location changes. The hype is real; this show is simply excellent.
This show was my first introduction to Korean drama. I really enjoyed it! Aside from learning a little about Korean culture, the story was very engrossing. The side characters and side plots were interesting, also. Overall, a very fun show, and it made me interested in watching more Korean dramas!
