JAKE AND AMY!!!!
Finally, I'm so happy .
I had a real moment when I saw Bradley Whitford as Jake's dad.
Galadriel horse riding through Númenor. Perfection!
I don't care, I like it, I'm watching it.
As a LOTR fan for the past 20 or so years, this show definitely satisfies my cravings for more Middle Earth. Seeing Khazad-dûm in all its glory was fantastic. The orc fight was terrifying (albeit predictable), and the orc itself looked as menacing as ever (which makes me anticipate any big fight scenes coming and all the horror we'll get to see). The show gives nods to the Peter Jackson movies without overdoing it, through similarity in characters and world building, which I enjoy. It's definitely its own show but it respects its predecessor. Is the show perfect? Definitely not. But I'm certainly enjoying it so far, even with the imperfections.
Definitely one of the best season finales of the whole series.
That Kramer/George phone scene ajdjsld LOL. How could anyone's favorite character from the show be anyone but Kramer.
Kramer's talking to George about a movie on the phone is an amazing scene, full of humor and laughter, amazing comedy scene
A big improvement over the pilot, the young cast's dialogue was so much better in this one.
I was in the mood for action, so, despite the Netflix, and despite the RE series of it, I gave it a chance. Firstly, NF are calling this an "anime". I'm not in the least bit surprised that You'reGreenlitFlix has no fucking idea what an anime is, but the writing is up there with your standard post-2010 shounen bullshit, so it's kind of half right. Secondly, who the fuck are these voice actors? This is supposed to be Leon and Claire post-RE4, yet Claire sounds like a generic English VO anime high schooler dere dere, and Leon is virgin high schooler Leon from RE2Make-- hardly the hero of Las Plagas. And no appearance from Ashley? I'm kind of glad of that, now, since this is several quality tiers below the hallowed RE4, and I want no connection with this and "the good one". And of course, there's no humor, because it's "super cereals bloody horror action". Mmkay. Just saying, a little self-referential humor and a bit of F U N to go along with the action would have gone a long way. Alas, not even a sandwich joke to be had here.
But the real breaking point was that Leon was just rolling like a high schooler with a chip on his shoulder after Ada Wong's stand-in and Corporal ball muscles kersplatted all the sailors and scuttled the US submarine , and just casually asked them this extremely important and decisive question as both men are loading pistols across from one another. I WONDER WHAT'S GOINT TO HAPPEN HERE? After which steroid tennis ball dropped a bombshell on him about a conspiracy and how they had a good reason for doing it (as if an infestation of fucking jacked up zombie rats wasn't enough of a reason in itself) and Leon turns into a Kingdom Hearts character and goes "sO, tReAsOn hE sAyS" and just straight up hole punches the guy's aorta after an idiotic Mexican standoff that Leon needlessly created. And then he tries to do the same to evil Mei Ling, who had just acquired the weapons cache for them . I had a lot more fun writing this review than I did watching the episode, but I think I'm done here. There's one thing that is a deal breaker for me, and it's the main character acting like a completely unreasonable, moronic jackass, for no reason at all. But to top it off they made the bishi badass Leon Fucking Kennedy into a bootlicking moron on the level of Chris RE5 "punches boulders" Redfield.
Stop wasting man hours on this bullshit and just give us a graphical update of RE4 with a VR version, whilst remaining as faithful to the original as possible. Leon needs higher res plagas eyes, and Ashely needs a better sweater texture.
p.s. This would have been a 4/10, but the rendering is actually really nice looking. And the pacing and tone was actually somewhat engaging. However, the animation is pretty shit a lot of the time, so, all said, i think 5/10 is more than fair. I wish they'd give the script duty to someone who knows how to write interesting characters.
He outdid himself with this one. Captivating from start to finish.
Dont get me wrong the finale was good, but it also felt kind of rushed? I personally dont think a show like this should be limited to 9 eps per season.
Pretty good episode... until the last minute. WTF was that? Shouting that she'll kill the guy who's been helping her this whole time? Kinda cringe, and didn't make much sense.
Holy Shit ! Dakota’s death !
i'm sorry but the girl in the beginning of this episode is a dumbass. how are u gonna pull on the wheel knowing the jacks not stable. face palm moment.
OMG this is getting even darker
