Good news everyone:
"AMC has ordered a second season of Halt and Catch Fire."
I certainly am looking forward to that.
Yeah, absolute shame that this has been canned without getting a real chance at all.
The father was absolutely hilarious and it was cool to have a 90's show for a change... oh well, too bad. :/
Pulled from the air by ABC after two episodes... like, seriously? I mean, it was a mini series to begin with, even if the ratings sucked or whatever, why not let it run its course? I'm pretty sure they got all episodes shot already and ready to air.
Oh well, it wasn't THAT good, sure, but I had hoped it would tide me over till "The Americans" returns soon. :P
Need to rewatch this! :D
That is what happens if you ask "come to brazil" one too many times.
Watched 24% of A24 produced/distributed material haha, seems appropriate!
Can Hasan please be the new permanent host? Or get a new show of his own again? God damn it....
After dropping the show at the end of season 26 because I got a bit tired of Noah, Hasan taking over for a week is a good reason to have another look. :)
Denji, don't stick your dick in crazy.
Had a really good time with the first two three episodes, looking forward to where they'll go!
Love the cast of this and the show kinda reminds me of "Episodes" which I highly enjoyed so... fingers crossed this keeps on delivering!
We have THIS development and then they just cancel the show?!?
WHAT IS WRONG WITH YOU PEOPLE.
T_T
Yeah, can't really complain with this one besides always hearing Rick when Korvo opens his mouth. (And that Adam Goldberg kid....)
But besides that? Entertaining and chaotic stuff that will fill the void when Rick & Morty goes on another prolonged hiatus or somesuch. Especially the last two episodes of the first season were stellar and make me cross my fingers for another season.
Might've been a bit too long, gone a bit too overboard with the fictional part of the story but daaamn those were some pretty crazy final 20 minutes.
So glad this is back, fun as always! :D
I really loved the Japanese original, Key of Life, so I was intrigued by the Korean remake. And honestly, they did a pretty good job with it. Seen much worse remakes and this had quite a few good laughs, some action and a... rather Korean romance. I'll take it!
Well that was a bit... rushed, but you don't have your show cancelled every day I guess.
Glad they managed to tie it up in some way tho, will be missing Jenna - was really happy to see her again and hope to do so again in the future.
And another canned FOX show, who would've thought. Wasn't doing terrible in the ratings and actually pretty well done and funny. Too bad, will kinda miss it.
I mean... it's a Sion Sono movie, expect the unexpected. ;)
But missed opportunity here, it needed way more Mariko Shinoda fighting in a way bloodier wedding dress, that would've made my day!
You know, Louis own show was often enough a bit too cringeworthy for my taste tbh but he behind the camera and together with Pamela Adlon like this again is just perfect.
Let's hope this turns into a reality show if & when Trump wins the 2016 election. ;)
Too excruciatingly awkward and depressing for my taste.
Best 20 minute Apple commercial ever (and a pretty good Modern Family episode as well)!
And here I was just celebrating this fun show and there goes NBC canceling it... welp, that sucks. :/
Not bad, not bad at all! I like what I've seen in the first episode starting with the cast, the acting and the setting - only minor complaint could be the sporadically low quality CGI... but it's TV after all so not THAT big of a budget. Either way, I'll be coming back for more, let's see where they can take us!
Yorgos Lanthimos remaking THAT movie. Wow. Did not expect that but if ANYONE can do it justice then it may be him...
This show/season took a while to get into gear but I honestly didnt hate it. Did not go into it expecting anything mindblowing or groundbreaking anyway so it was fine in the end? The last few episodes were pretty good actually and I mostly watched it for Anna Sawai anyway... and for that it was pretty good. ;)
Wonder what happens when they domesticate cats!
Went in with VERY low expectations since I really love the original show and being positively surprised would be the best outcome here.... so yeah, it was actually pretty decent for a pilot. The entanglement with the characters from the old show is intriguing so that's a good take - I'll be watching this if they can keep the quality like this. :)
"How is it that we're the Nazis this time?"
Man, considering the current "situation" in Ukraine this line made me go HA... brutal movie, for something made by Americans this was KINDA decent esp. considering its age.
Oh... that ending line, wow. Yes, this was indeed the 100th episode, it's been a while hah.
