I usually do not watch TV episodes till after the credits roll but there is actually an after credits scene here that noone should miss!

I don't know about that last scene. I don't think it is cool to shoot somebody in the back when they are running away, especially since he didn't realistically have anywhere to run to actually get away from them any way.

@twiztidjuggla420 @ragreynolds Yeah but you two are also assuming that he was shot dead, but do we know that? Sure, the ending might imply that but they could also just have wounded/shot him in a leg or something. We'll never get a second season or anything so we will never find out but I wouldn't write him off like that.

But honestly I kinda liked it? A retro-futuristic Czech spaceflight with Adam Sandler delivering a decent acting job that got me more intersted in the book it's based on - which apparently has a very different ending too? That might be worth a shot!

Jakub passes his time with Hanuš while getting reports back from the spy he hired to follow Lenka. When he finally reaches Chopra, the dust particles tear open his ship and he decides to spend his last moments with a dying Hanuš, whom he has grown very close to. At the last moment, Jakub is rescued by a Russian shuttle, where he meets three other cosmonauts. They explain that they are from a secret Russian program and that once they land he will be imprisoned. As they are landing, Jakub escapes with the help of one of the cosmonauts who claims to have met Hanuš as well. The escape attempt causes the ship to crash, with Jakub as the only survivor. He learns he was pronounced dead to the world and decides this is better for both him and Lenka, who he believes is happier without him. He travels back to his childhood home, where he decides to live the rest of his life.

@maxam67 Yeah, not really heard of them before either and then when they reached "When Do I Get to Sing "My Way"" in the docu I (as a German) was like... "Oh - I remember that from MTV back then!".
Apart from a little cliche aristocratic villian causing a scandal in the beginning of the movie,the film is great and very reminiscent of how advanture and old school animated movies used to feel like, and considering this movie as well as April and the Extraordinary World I cant wait to see what France will make next.

I really enjoyed this show, and honestly if @mellowB hadn't watched it, I probably would have ignored it indefinitely. This show had such potential and I found it quite funny from the get-go, and wish we could see where this would have gone, but thanks for the short ride any way. ALso, as a side note, it was the title of the show that made me ignore it.

Yep, its a shame, really. I guess the cast of this show in particular is just too expensive to make it work with the comparatively low ratings it gets. :/

But WHY oh WHY is it on NBC of all channels... Well the blacklist is actually doing pretty good ratings wise so it is unlikely that it gets cancelled by NBC any time soon. But yeah, their track record is not allllll that great and they often botch pretty good shows. Still, they kept 30 Rock and Community around that long so kudos to them once in a while as well.
Daaaaaaamn fine start into season 3 but is it really only going to last 6 episodes?!
That's a damn shame if you ask me, but on the other hand I guess we can be glad that we got a 3rd Season at all since it hung in limbo for quite some time...

Look, you guys are obviously free to compare this show to whatever the heck you want, but...
Comparing a show of which you have maybe seen one or two episodes to a over 20 years old movie? A movie that had a undeniable star-laden cast, was made for the cinema and had a well thought out and "finished" story (based on a book, which some might say was better than the movie even) that was perfect for a 2 hourish enjoyment?
You don't know where this show will go, how it will explore the material and what is there to come. Esp. since it's a prequel. You can compare that, if you like, but honestly, it is a bit silly imho.
