I love this series. It's one of my go to feel-good-fluffy series when I'm down or not feeling to well. This can always magically make a smile appear on my face no matter how depressed or terrible I'm feeling. It isn't a high-standing series, but to me it has it's purpose. ^^
The hate on this drama.. far too much! It's not as bad as some people said, actually this serie age really well considering in 2024 still manages to bring some topics and make it work, barely any old drama can do that. Hangyul's character it's beautifully written, you can tell immediately this story was written by a woman, some people mad about the "cringeness", I care more about the man who dgaf anything only wanting to be with the man he loves, about the girl who even at the age of 16 takes care of her family, about the woman who lose her baby but still tried to be happy... give it a try, it's not bad at all!
Shin Hye-sun killed this performance. She was so funny and animated and handled each scene with such tenacity that I can forgive the "villains" for being so damn annoying.
Kim Jung-hyun did an excellent job at somehow building up from puppet king to hearthrob. Completely unfreezing my heart which had been cold to him the first half of the drama.
Their chemistry made me keep watching. And I was sad when the real queen returned to her body to carry on in the end.
The second male lead, although beautiful to look at, was never used to his full potential in my opinion.
All and all, I enjoyed this and am excited to see what Shin Hye-sun gets up to next.
One of the best dramas I've ever seen! You laugh and cry in the same episode.
I'm completely in love with the couple, the protagonists are brilliant and the king has the kindest eyes ever!
A top-tier drama, original and so funny. The cast did a spectacular job!
Episode 01 was great. It showed the things that happen in real life that most people choose to ignore. The things that happen that people turn a blind eye and a deaf ear to, like those bystanders who just watched someone else's boy be bitten to death by an adult.
While this episode depicts physical child abuse, so there is evidence and all that. Don't be mistaken dear readers, there are a hundred ways of child abuse, especially from parents. Right from their HOMES where supposedly there should be love.
It saddens me deeply that the majority of comments and reactions I've read about the premiere episode failed to see this problem and instead focused on the actors and shipping and the entertainment value.
Episode 01 is loaded.
STILL 17 HAS 32 EPISODES, NOT 40.
I try to go somewhere but my heart has no strength, so I’m just staying here while the place I long for grows far away. Many things have already changed in time. I’ve indifferently remained here, lost and wandering… ♫
This show was incredible. I was hesitant to watch it at first due to what I perceived would be a creepy relationship between the mentally-17-year-old MC and the possible love interest, but I am so glad I decided to give it a go. It sucked me in immediately, The relationships the MC fosters with people of all ages are portrayed realistically and without being creepy in the slightest. If you’re as worried about that as I was, I’d urge you to watch it—I’m sure you won’t be disappointed! It was a great watch and is definitely binge-able.
Soundtrack was top notch. The entire OST is gorgeous, really. I think I’ll have “Get Away” by Bonggu in my favorites playlist for a long, long time. It’s beautiful and really adds to the atmosphere of the drama. Actually, that could be said of any of the tracks! They really left an imprint on my heart.
Definitely one of the best dramas of this year so far! They managed to turn a very sad and dramatic story into a beautiful one.
Is incredible how this has the perfect balance between drama and comedy and they bring us such a good and lovelys characters, i personally think that Jennifer is one of the best and original character of all K-Dramas .
For those who think that Shin Hye Sun was a little bit childish let me tell you that she do that character SO well, i mean, Woo Seo Ri was a seventeen years old girl trapped in a 30 old year woman's body and that's exactly how you do that role! Yang Se Jong was so good too.
Today i started to watch it again beacuse its deserves that, so don't hesitate to watch it!
How many time passed since we get a really good comedy as this? Probably since Strong Woman Do Bong-soon.
This drama was nearly perfect, everyone in the cast was great, characters were great, direction, script and every technical aspect works perfect, they gave us comedy with touching moments but it wouldn't work without the chemistry between Ji Chang-wook and Kim Yoo-jung, probably one of my favorites couples of all times, now I need to highlight two things, first, Kim Sun-young acting and I'll say this in every single one of her dramas, she's always perfect and she has that aura that wants you have her as your family; the other one, Eum Moon-Suk and Seo Ye-Hwa as Dal-Sik and Geum-Bi, this is my first time seeing them in a drama and I was shocked by them, not only acting but they have a perfect chemistry, it almost outshines the main couple, I would love to see a spin off with them.
I expect Kim Yoo-jung to be nominated as best actreess, her and Ji Chang-wook as best couple, Son Geun-Joo for best script and this drama for drama of the year.
Overall great, they gave us what we waited for so long, as a comedy it's really hard to compete with other genres but this has nothing to envy, that's how good it is.
My score: 8.8/10
A cult anime to see, you must watched one time at least in the life
Brilliantly made and ridiculously entertaining. Hopefully we will see more than just a single season of this!
I forgot how crazy and ridiculous animes can get but that's the charm of it (versus real-life films). Stories are wholesome. The plot explores relationships in general which helps audience to see that romance isn't everything. I love how the show discussed social commentary (tom boy, otaku, social anxiety, victim blaming, stalking, etc.) in a lighthearted way. I really enjoyed watching it and I wouldn't mind one bit if they had a second season (provided the quality maintains the same).
Overexaggerated expressions but wow this was funny. I was expecting a romantic-comedy with a female protagonist but this was just straight up comedy. This is a definite recommendation from my end.
PS: The anime was a complete adaptation of the manga so no more sequel, probably.
Love it!
I was not expecting too much of this anime, so I think it was better that way. It is not the best plot or scenes, but it is more than just a romantic comedy anime. I have fun watching it, the main character is one of my favorites now
Really enjoyed the series. It's probably one of the best Netflix shows I've watched.
The story was really good pretty much from the start. We were hooked trying to figure out who the monster was. I also liked that they didn't do the normal and try throwing in some CW love triangle that ruins the entire show.
What an absolute breath of fresh air this show is! Loved it! Jenna's performance is superb, and the way its integrated into modern society works very well.
What a shame there are only 8 episodes, I could easily sit through another 8
no other masterchef compared to this one. well filmed, truly human contestants and judges. I tried watching the other ones but this is the only masterchef series I truly love.
This is the only Masterchef to watch.
I always love watching Courtney Cox she always makes me laugh, i do enjoy the show very much, it's so random lmao never get bored of Ellie being a bitch.
One random day I was looking for a new show to watch, stumbled onto this show that had a neat darkish poster/fanart. Without looking at anything or knowing what the show was about I loaded up the first episode... crap I thought, another Vampire show. I finished that first episode, then the next, and the next... I couldn't stop watching. This show took me by surprise! Not only was I enjoying it, I feel like it is one of my favorite shows I have watched so far.
Even if you do not like vampire shows, I feel like this is still worth a watch.
I can barely handle all the mushiness or crying in Vampire Diaries. Klaus is bad ass even when he is complaining about this or that. I gave up on Vampire Diaries when Elena erased her feelings for Damon. I knew he'd come back and more drama would happen.
There's just something much better about this show.
Where TVD becomes slightly more boring per episode, The Originals is getting better and better.
Spin off from TVD and it becomes definitely better than TVD itself.
Such a great series, I strongly recommend watching.
I didn't expect it but Fatma is very intense, dynamic and full of twists. It is truely thrilling. Fatma's story begins as a thriller and changes to a drama during the time. The series shows what can happen to a woman who's consistently underestimated and ignored by the society. Strongly recommended!
Keep going. The first few episodes feel like the timing is off just slightly. But by the third episode, they seem to have gotten it right.
This was such a cute love story. 1st season was kind of boring but the 2nd season was really something.
This show knows how to keep their viewers on the edge. Although the plot was a bit repetitive but it was still good.
Character Animation was simple and adorable which was one of it's major charm.
Edit: 3rd season was nothing extraordinary from the first two but I still loved this heart-warming comfy love story. Hoping for more :fingers_crossed:.
Wow! Suspense mixed in with killings, steamy scenes, and comedic lines makes this show pretty darn good. Don't pass it up as you won't be disappointed.
There will honestly never be another show like this one. Everything about it is wonderful: the humor, the writing, the acting, the characters (I love Reese, Malcolm and Dewey, I love how they dress, and I love their personalities), the fourth-wall breaks, everything. Definitely one of my most favorite TV shows ever.
