Why do they always address each other as "man" and "bud"?
Can I just gonna go into any store, take something, and when they try to stop me I say "Looks like this item doesn't want to go with you". Then beat up the employee. Is that reasonable?
Okay so I'm confused. I need an explanation. Is Trip teaching the Cogenitor to read in English or Vissian? Trip would obviously be using the UT to speak to any of the Vissians. The text "it" reads from the book is not English so I guess it's Vissian, but Humans already got a complete database that plugged in to a learning program? So Trip's UT is translating the Vissian words from the PADD as the PADD reads them to "Charles". Or is the PADD teaching "it" English and the UT is translating it to "it"? But then she would only be able to read English text with Vissian dialogue. It's so confusing...
What did the Horizon have to lose from the weapons upgrade? They may not want to engage the enemy, but where's the harm in upgrading the weapons if that's an option? They don't have to be on the offensive.
Why would the Horizon have the same OS as Enterprise? Either, good for Horizon for having the newest operating system or sorry that Enterprise is running on decades-old software.
They really need to stop sending people out exploring in Shuttlepods. It never ends well.

"One crewman. You have 82 others safely aboard." But Reed and Archer are out there. The Enterprise has a compliment of 83 crewmen. So 81 crewmen are aboard. Scans didn't show that?
Did they just leave Shuttlepod 1 on the planet?
