This very last episode was absolutely ethereal. I'm finishing the series a bit late, but my life's taken a lot of twists and turns, and Naruto has been a part of it for the better part of ten years. I only wanted two more things in this episode: Sasuke and to see the actual wedding, but I'm just being greedy, lol. I can leave the rest to the imagination, like so many other great stories. Cheers!
Village security solution for the wedding: Naruto creates as many shadow clones as they need. Done.
That ninja cat's voice is definitely Naruto's, lol.
The artists really took some liberties with the art style this episode, lol.
How did this bucket of warm salty water fall into my eyes??
I'll lead by saying that the show is ended as of today. Before I knew it, I had binged all 3 seasons. Excellent show, I would implore Netflix to give us more seasons after COVID-19 is dealt with, lots left to explore! You get wrapped up in the characters and often have to look beyond your initial judgements to reveal more to the story. You're getting all the feels in this show, great acting, and excellent production value. Highly recommend!
My favorite season yet I think, tough to say because they were all so good. I'll definitely be recommending this to friends!
Just a wonderful anime. The ending delivers both peaks and valleys. The style of this show, the detail and twists in the plot, and the lessons of war all help to deliver a knockout second season. It's been over two years, I'm eager for a third season! There is a movie coming out following the events of this season called Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection (http://codegeass.wikia.com/wiki/Code_Geass:_Lelouch_of_the_Re;surrection) that is coming out February 9, 2019, and based on the title of the film, perhaps we can expect Lelouch's return? Maybe he somehow obtained his father's Geass and that was him driving the hay cart? Who knows, just glad the story is continuing and hopefully an anime series will follow.
He actually went through with it! Wonderful episode, and like you'll see in countless reviews, an end with a feeling of completeness.
That ending tho...........AHH!! Love this anime. <3
Could you get back in the closet, please?
There was some interesting plot points, but I kinda wish there was a bit more of the story and a bit less of the hentai factor (as if I even need an example...but Shizuku's healing ability??), lol. If you like cat girls, perversion, harems, weak and disinterested male lead, and a thin interweaving of a greater supernatural threat, Omamori Himari is a good one for you.
Hacker bear and possibly a bit of incest. Wonder what a season 2 would hold?
The longer I watch this show, the more I like it. Lol.

A voice in the background: "Because anime."
What a ride. Each character has a vibrant uniqueness and makes me feel like I wish that I had friends like this in high school! The blooming, naive relationship dynamics between Naho and Kakeru is cute and rich, and the animators spared no detail in really sweeping you into the emotions of it all, while still keeping the serious undertone of a sensitive moral issue in reverence. At times I felt like yelling what I would do, but I think that's how the writers wanted me to feel, to actually raise my own awareness and root for the underdogs. Overall, I had a lot of fun watching it, it was artistic and well drawn, the voice acting was good, and worth the 9 I'm giving it.
If I had to give a drawback? The love triangle between Suwa, Naho, and Kakeru didn't really add to the story. In fact, in one of the final scenes a left-field acknowledgement of it is put on the table and it not only seemed out of place, but made the ensuing laughter feel contrived, IMHO. Another minor one was how meek/timid Naho was all the time. She only broke that character trait once, maybe twice. Maybe I'm wrong here, but given the subject matter, you'd think there would be a call for a wider spectrum of behavior.
Good job to Naho and Suwa! Been waiting for this episode, but I should know by now not to watch this show at work. Because emotions.
I watched the English dub, FYI. That said, I enjoyed this series more than I was expecting. The fanservice was nice. Tendou's voice acting was fun to listen to, Aguri and Tasuku provided a layer of separation from the gaming talk. As far as a main character goes, Amano was a bit weak from an entertainment perspective along with Hoshinomori. Most of the anime revolved around a handful of gamers, how they crossed paths, a love pentagon where nobody knows with whom one's true affections lie, and the attempts at clearing up the resulting confusion. After a while it got kind of worn out, but even so, there were lots of laughs in each episode. Episode 12 was fun because it was mostly detached from the main storyline and they were discussing video game DLC, monetization, and there was an extended hot spring scene with fun camera angles, lol. Overall, I would definitely be interested in a second season, but look forward to a more diversified plot.
Two more seasons for late-2017/early-2018: https://www.animenewsnetwork.com/news/2016-03-24/toonami-to-co-produce-2-new-flcl-seasons/.100222
Unless I missed it beforehand, it looks like Naruto was able to use the Beast Bomb when infused with the Rasengan. Not having to summon a Shadow Clone to help spin it up is going to help him out considerably in future battles, not to mention the power increase with the Nine-Tails' chakra.
Oh man, this episode is brutal. I'm at work. :`-(
Man...he's been waiting a long time for this from the village.
Such a great movie. It's gorgeous and takes you on emotional twists and turns. The quality of the narrative is striking and I'll most certainly be exploring some of Shinkai's other titles.
I haven't been this moved by an anime since Miyazaki. Looking forward to a [likely] season 2.
This show is breaking me apart. It's an emotional rollercoaster, for sure.
It's funny that he has to keep reminding himself that he's so much older than his peers.
That sucks about his mother! It figures that his ability allows him to save other lives, but not his own family. Looking forward to the next!
