what the hell. i thought it was just gonna be one of those episodes focused on family drama... WHAT THE HELL
whew! hands down the best season so far.
this rewatch is crazy bc although i remember some vague stuff from the first time, i also feel like i've never seen this before. i really was too dumb for tv shows like this back then...
there's so much to talk about this episode. it's perfect in its entirety but that ending! flint you brilliant motherfucker
wow. what the hell. what did i just watch? i don't know what to say
one of the best episodes so far, dare i say THE best. looooved the little flashbacks to shaw's past and how it tied to her connection to gen (their final scene together was the cutest thing) and went feral over all her badass scenes and the amount of times i got to see her biceps and the way her hair covers her face....... anyways!
carter's subplot was cool too and that last scene where she reveals she knew everything and completely owns that mf was beautiful to watch
elliot placing his hand on top of darlene's to show gratitude was so cute
domlene rising and falling in the same breath lmao
"the only time i've ever been real happy was when i was with you"
"i came all this way to be with you. so don't be afraid of this world where we can meet"
"wait for me, utena"
"and someday, together..."
"someday, together... ?"
a perfect conclusion to the greatest love story i've ever seen. it's sad that it took me so long to finally give this show a chance, but i'm sure it wouldn't have been the same great experience if i have done it sooner. maybe i would misinterpret and misjudge lots of things... anyways this is already one of my top favorite shows ever and utena and anthy are definitely on my fictional characters hall of fame. and i felt so grateful to meet them at last ;)
the writing in this show is so excellent and the acting is great too. everything is natural and real. i almost can't believe it exists
the first episode was a little meh to me but this one was excellent :ok_hand:
i wasn't expecting calvin's dad to know he's gay, usually there's always a "coming out to your parents" plot lol. his scene with rusty at the very end was great tho, loved it! and i love the characters, especially casey but i'm starting to get annoyed that the girls' conflicts always surround the boys somehow. it's a 2000s show, i know, but find something else to fight about damn it
I KNEW THIS WAS GONNA SLAP BC EVERYONE PUTS IT ON THE TOP POI EPISODES LISTS IN 1ST PLACE OR CLOSE, BUT I HAD NO IDEA. NO IDEAAAAAA. WHAT IS GONNA HAPPEN NOW??? HOW IS SHE GOING TO ESCAPE??? WTF IS GOING ONNNNNN
one of the best episodes so far. perfection
another great episode, season 3 has been amazing so far, and sooo much better than 2. i love these characters and how well they're written most of the time. fusco is a highlight, his speech about carter made me tear up, what a development
i got spoiled about this and i'm pretty sure i'd see it coming if i hadn't because they built it up so well, all the clues were there, but STILL it hurt like a bitch... i know taraji wanted out, i understand and respect her decisions, and i'm glad they gave her character such a good ending. carter's arc this season was amazing.
also, this episode per se was pretty great, one of the best for sure. i didn't like the romantic thing between carter and reese either, it was unnecessary and unfitting, but loooved finch and root's scenes, shaw helping fusco and them getting along more, fusco's entire plot with HR... 10/10
ABSOLUTELY, MOTHERFUCKERS
wtf was this episode?? the mix of the comedy with reese and shaw scenes and the thrill of the root and finch ones, the heartbreaking flashbacks... and the ending, the ENDING. one of the best hours of tv i've ever watched. again, s2 in general wasn't very entertaining to me but the last 3 eps almost made up for all of it. i loved it
i have no choice but to stan
darlene and elliot made me cry like a baby, i never thought mr robot would do this to me. thank you.
A WORLD WHERE GAY IS THE NORM AND STRAIGHT A MINORITY!!!
what a fun ride this was, and a great finale... choni rules, bitches
excellent episode! i feel like it's a turning point in the series somehow
one of the most confusing group of "revolutionaries" i've seen in fiction lmao. collier's flashbacks were great tho
wow, what a character. i was giggling and kicking my feet the entire time. i want to know all about her. and yes miss root i know you're obsessed with her already, you can't fool me!
domlene interactions were top tier since the beginning huh? this show knows how to build tension, the entire scene between tyrell, elliot and mr robot is so good. it's sad that the first time i watched this i couldn't understand half of it
this was one hell of an ep. the badass shaw scene in the beginning made me nostalgic about the earlier episode of the show (around season 2 and 3). the case of the week was good, i loved elias' role in it, and fusco had his moment as he deserved (5 fucking seasons and they're only telling him now... c'mon). now the highlight to me was obviously root and shaw's reunion... relieving and heartbreaking at the same time. i want shaw to figure this shit out so bad, FUCK SAMARITAN!!!!
that said, the very last scene when they're all together and shaw shows up was weird. apart from root, why were they all so serious?? she's been missing for half of s4 and s5 and this is your reaction, guys?? lmao
every single season finale from this show has been amazing so far. how did they do this??
THIS FUCKING EPISODEEEEEE
idek what to say. i have to watch the last ep now, i can't just go to sleep after that.o
reese's teleportation skills are ridiculous sometimes lol but another great episode. so much information and again great character writing. also this show never disappoints with badass and cool action scenes, the part where root cuts shaw's cuffs and then they shoot the bad guys together was awesome. I loved root's entire plot in this episode, her scenes with control were top notch. amy acker is a gift to the show
great ending! this show is certainly one of the best things i watched this year, i'm so glad i gave it a chance and didn't drop it at the beginning. the character writing here is amazing, i love dulce and eddie's dynamic and abby is the cherry on top
wow i have to watch the next ep now. i can't wait
hello richie from the bear
