After starting off looking like another cliché procedural crime drama, Lucifer evolved into one of the best shows of the year.
This is the best zombie show I've ever seen.
Acting is so bad that it's fun to watch, special effects are horrible, logic doesn't exist (why do zombies sometimes run and sometimes walk??????????) but this is what makes it good.
IMO, there are 2 kind of "trash": the kind that bores you to death, and the kind that is SO bad that it keeps you glued to the screen.
This is the second kind.
In my opinion this is way better than TWD.
One word: masterful. They've edited a very naturalistic sort of narrative in a way that's gripping, intense and full of details you just want to sink into.
You just don't see coming a plot so simple produced into such a piece of fine art. It's everything you ask for and more in both the technical and the emotional departments.
The depth of all characters, the cinematography, the balls of that episode 7. FX at its finest.
Very intense Chef!! But enjoyed it a lot, very bingeable and some really fantastic scenes. Hope they make more.
Only the first episode is out thus far but I liked what I saw. Was pretty genius really to use 50s racism as a horror element. I found the sundown town scene tense as hell.
Everything a superhero and comic fan could want in a team up TV series.
