this series is surrounded by petty man! poor Rhaenyra, poor Alicent hahah
I really enjoyed this movie. A great cast and amazing acting. I was lucky to see it in a theater before the Netflix release. If you like law suit drama's then this is a movie for you. Based upon true events with real footage in it
This was an exceptional finale. The twist did come out of nowhere, but I don't think it was an asspull without any foreshadowing. I mean, as I said, it did come out of nowhere, but I think hating it and calling it an asspull is unnecessary. Foreshadowing it would've ruined it. But I guess some people would prefer twists to be foreshadowed, for some odd reason. Plus, it's not like she did it and didn't react after she did it. She simply did it out of desperation without an active frame of mind, which is why she acted and reacted the way she did after the fact. I don't see the issue with that and how it came out of nowhere with no indication. Regardless, I enjoyed it. And I believe the ending opened up a door for new possibilities for a very interesting second season, which I hope will come to fruition.
Love this show, love these characters!!
I don’t know if the fact that Rebecca stays alive for another 10 years is due to the clinical trial, but it would be really annoying that Randall is right after all.
I was super excited to find out that Jack has a sister and that Toby and Kate adopted. However, I am still concerned that we haven’t seen Kate in the future, not even once...
And for Kevin, I’m so happy that he finds love and has a family. I do believe he’s trying to do better and the fact that Randall never cuts him some slack makes me hate him even more .
Can’t wait for next season!!
Saw this last night here in the UK. I am soooo peed!!! Its was beyond CRAP!!. I't was just an extremely poor, regular horror flick with absolute no story to keep you gripped. My best friend stopped me from walking out towards the end of the movie :(
Yes, I was curious, being a Evil Dead fan, but what persuaded me to watch this was IMDB.
I made the mistake of trusting IMDB's ratings so early when a movie is released (that said 7.2 / 15,000 views) and trusted that all the ratings are going to be genuine.
Anyway, watched it, and yes, I cried. No way on in this universe anyone would score this above 4. I can not believe that for a second. I went back to IMDB site, wondering why the hell people recommended this crap, and found all the recent reviews were all in-between 1/10 and 3/10. All the old (most probably fake reviews) were rated at around 7/10 to 10/10.
Obviously, the marketing team of this movie, faked reviews on IMDB before the real people got a glance at how bad this movie was..
Being an Evil Dead fan, I really was curious but I wouldn't have watched it, if I knew it was this bad. You can't beat an original horror flick and I don't know what possessed me (get it;) to think its going to be alright... Thanks IMDB :(
Conclusion: Be prepared to be peed. And the only horror your going to experience, is how I've tried my best to convince you, NOT to see this, yet your curiosity took the better of you and forced you to burn a few hours of your precious life. Don't say I didn't warn you!!
Am I the only one that thinks this movie f'ing sucks balls. Didn't like this at all
The fact that the main stream media is telling you not to watch this movie tells you everything you need to know — it's a must watch for everyone!
A groundhog birthday slasher with a twist that I thought was very good and It had a halloween 1,2 feel to it and packed with other movie references followed by lots of action and humour and keeps you guessing till the very end.
A groundhog birthday slasher with a twist that I thought was very good and It had a halloween 1,2 feel to it and packed with other movie references followed by lots of action and humour and keeps you guessing till the very end. huh? I'm sure I've write this before..
sigh i miss forever :(
Nope just nope, worst season ever, new actors are okay, acting is decent, script? Bad, just plain bad, lets make up this girl come magically and save and finish the story. What the hell was that ending? The whole season was just tasteless. Worst, season, ever!
(i kinda was hoping nardole to turn up to be missy's new regeneration.)
So Liz spent all last season as americas most wanted and then publicly exonerated and now nobody knows who she is and she can go undercover? BS
Yes I totally cheered out loud when Ben hit the sheriff with the vehicle, and I cheered again when Ethan killed him. That was for Beverly you arrogant sociopathic prick! What was that creature though?!
Incredibly boring and annoying. It’s the kind of film where they take pride in having bored and annoyed the audience on purpose. Plus all the characters are super unappealing - on purpose again I’m sure… Gosh I really dislike French cinema - except for comedies. As a testament to how terrible French cinema can be, movie theaters in France are required by law to play French movies (otherwise most of the time they probably wouldn’t).
Two :v: hour waste of time from my perspective.
"Spectacular" "Amazing" Really? It was alright. It felt like a webisode (remember those?) than a pilot.
I don't like that they are turning a mercenary villain into a good guy just to make the series more digestible.
I also don't see it as a positive when a series is like another series. Take Better Call Saul, for example. It's very much its own thing.
A proper send-off for Daniel Craig, he did much for the franchise. One of the better Bond-films for sure, there's lots to like here. The acting is great, music fantastic and obviously the action is riveting. Even at 163 minutes, it does not drag - and even though I wanted more, the ending was perfect. It's exciting to discuss who will become the next Bond, but let's enjoy this ride first and let it sink in.
At this point I guess anything is possible so I'm going to say Dembe is Katarina Rostova!
Wow! I mean, there is no other way it could have ended but with Carrie being an asset in another country. Sad that Homeland has ended. I’ll miss this show and Carrie’s craziness.
Dark crystal used to terrify me as a young kid, the bird like creatures are truly terrifying. Watching it again as an adult, the film was a bit lost and long-winded.
A comedy should be judged by if you laugh. A horror movie should be judged by if it is frightening. If this movie was judged by its ability to put an audience to sleep, it would be great. It's a horror movie, though, so a fail. I'm not saying I saw the end coming, but all the characters acted like they were just serving the plot instead of being actual people. Toni Collette's performance (or was it the script?) was incredibly uneven as she moved from unaffected to completely traumatized...sometimes within the same sequence. I actually liked the final story reveal and it was certainly built throughout. The problem is it took forever to get there and I hated every character so much, I couldn't care less if they lived or died. Garbage that every critic wanted to use "heightened" in a review will be lining up to kiss its ass. Here's the thing...my theater was full and never even a gasp. Did hear one dude snoring, though. See at your own risk.
What was the Monitor doing at the Legends’ show?
This sucked. The rest of the season better be better.... I love Ncuti. And have been super excited even after the dismal Ruby Road troll thing. But this was both disgusting and too childish. Maybe Disney involvement is ruining the messaging that Whovians are accustomed to. This came off as made for children rather than the fan base. I hope it gets better.
Well that was a complete waste of time. Nothing happens after episode 5. They should’ve ended the season at episode 5
The story of Priscilla and Elvis. We all know it…. But this movie kind of sucked…. There is absolutely no emotion between Elvis and Priscilla…. You can see them acting and badly. Also the height difference, wow! Too profound…I know it was there to prove a point but it goes into creepy…. And the courtship in the beginning really did have creepy vibes. I think this movie does not represent accurately…. No Elvis music…. Ok this pales in comparison to the Elvis movie of Baz…. Disappointed…
Doctor Who doesn't get any better than this episode. Forget the Daleks and anything else that you might consider 'scary', this is the real stuff. And such a clever writing. Incredible. Episodes as this, are what defines Doctor Who's cult status.
They never should have made this into a "universe".
Overly-complicated long fights that make no sense.
Keanu has 10 lines literally.
The only time he delivers lines with emotion is when he's speaking to Laurence Fishburne or - surprisingly - when he's talking in Russian.
Too many new characters that are there only to be killed / to be forgotten and basically nobody cares about them.
The villain is weak.
Too long, which equals too boring.
I am convinced that people just don't get what a good action movie is these days, not only because of the majority of the comments here, but also most people in my theatre liked it so much. Just because there are long complicated fight scenes, doesn't mean that this is a good action movie.
First John Wick film is a perfection. Second one was also very good. I will rewatch them and pretend that this was never a "universe".
Can I kill Sylvie so we can get Loki back? I mean like her but not as much as Loki!
Another episode that doesn't fit in the "Black Mirror" series. Not even remotely anything to do with tech or dystopia. The "immigrant hate" angle went nowhere. Was there any hidden meaning / point to the story, or was it just a meaningless story?
Hey quick question: Is s02 ready yet?
