We just left the movie and while liking it overall, there's a lot that could be fixed. A bit tired right now, but leave a reply asking to expand and I'll get back to it
More like a 7.5, but I'll round up to 8. Regardless, I really enjoyed this movie! I was hesitant because sometimes M. Night does too much (specifically Old and Avatar come to mind). But this was a really well executed movie. Gripping all throughout, thought provoking, emotionally evocative. I'm truly glad I went to see this movie
Was able to see this at an early release at the Alamo. I stumbled upon Searching, but was immediately taken. So when I found out there was a sequel, I was so excited to see it. And for the most part, it lives up. I do thing the novelty of the “screenlife” format isn’t as fresh after seeing Searching. And Searching was a bit stricter about only using screens
But overall, I had a lot of fun. I laughed (so did a lot of others in the audience), I cried, I covered my mouth in shock. It was a good time
