This show used to be funny and it's also used to be one of my favorite TV shows (hence I initially rated this show a 10 on trakt). But starting from Season 7 the show has becoming redundant and it's going nowhere with its forgettable plots. This seems like the show is now more on the money rather on the quality.
I am so sad to say this but I won't continue watching this show.
It's just another unnecessary remake. You're better off just watching The Intouchables instead.
A weird show that is not for everybody but I really enjoyed it. I love the world they set up with all the little gadgets and advertising. The performances from Emma Stone and Jonah Hill were both fantastic. I like how they were able to do really different stories throughout the season to mix things up. There were a lot of funny parts too.
you don't usually get to see three female characters so three dimensional and well acted in tv or movies. you can feel the pain in camille, the sorrow in adora and the angst in amma. you can understand what they do, even when you don't agree, you just say to yourself "okay she's doing what she's gotta do"
i really like character driven content (the leftovers is my favorite tv show ever), so i think this show is a must! also, the plot makes you want for more. it has a great soundtrack and directing (same from big little lies, which is as magnificent as sharp objects). amy adams is superb and i hope she get some awards. the rest of the cast is great as well, but amy adams is amy adams right :))
update: i was really surprised by the end. loved every second of the show!!
Between XXX: The Return of Xandar Cage, Riddick, and now this, Vin Diesel is becoming the king of movies that feel like they belong in the 2000’s.
Nevertheless, I’ve got to give it to the guy: for someone who can’t act, he has managed to build a very respectable career for himself.
Here’s another one of his thunderously boring action movies, including the poorly done action scenes you’d expect to come with it.
The plot is as pedestrian and generic as it gets, and the dialogue should’ve been much more snappy and fun.
Even the actors who I normally love are fucking terrible in this (looking at you, mr. Kebbell).
Some points for ... the cinematography and visuals, I suppose, but that shouldn’t be the bar here guys.
3/10
A totally forgettable superhero movie. It has ok action. The technology and effects are kinda cool to look at sometimes. The plot is basic and dull. Vin Diesel is just doing what he normally does, love it or hate it.
Very disappointing, slow and boring and also it really didn't make any sense. Weak story. I cannot believe the 8.2 on imdb and 98%(!!) on RT
this movie sucked in so many levels.
I want my 100 minutes back.
The power of story. This story will stick with you. An animated film about a child living in very real, very challenging times and circumstances. One of the 90th Oscar nominees for Best Animated Film, it is an adaption of book written by a Canadian author, of over 20 works, telling the story of children in their lives all around the world. Great story. Great story within a story. Great voice performances. I give this film an (you guessed it) 8 (great) out of 10. This will be a story that will generate conversations across age divides. [Animated True to Life Drama].
Holy shit that was a good episode.
The film felt rushed, writing wasn't very good, Julianne Moore didn't seem very fit for the role of evil witch-queen and it all lacked a certain depth. Kind of disappointed, even though my expectations weren't even that high to begin with.
This one was sick! Some great performances and the writing was really clever.
This show is a typical CBS sitcom at first glance, but the writing is so much better. It's hilarious, irreverent, and risque without being filthy like 2 Broke Girls. The characters are worth caring about and feel genuine.
Most people knew calling their congressman wasn’t going to do shit. If you get shown a problem, but have no idea on how to control it, then you just decide to get used to the problem.
Jesus Christ what an episode! A classic Philly episode for me. I liked it a lot better than the other episodes this season to be honest.
Dennis was creeping like in the good old days, I loved it.
Unique & original & the cast has good chemistry. really enjoying it :)
Plot isn't as strong or emotive as the first movie but it's a great "Keanu Reeves kills everyone" film. Also the dog is okay in the end, which was a relief.
I managed 3 episodes of this show but I can’t go on. Very awkward acting, dialogue and characters. Plus, the laugh track is annoying, it's the same laugh at every joke.
How would you feel if I shaved off my mustache?
