I've read the entire comic and this episode had me in tears at many points. This is the best show I've ever seen in my life.
Lol I love Saul. I can see now why he has his own show (and possibly why that show seems to be more popular than Breaking Bad).
The best episode of the season (so far) and one of the best episodes of the whole show!!! It's a CRIME that us show-onlies have to wait over a month to see what happens next!
Hate using this word, but this show is a masterpiece. I need Season 2 NOW.
Seems I'm in the minority here, the ending gave me chills.
The Skyler hate is ridiculous, I didn't even know there were idiots out there that blamed her for everything going wrong. In this exact episode, Skyler literally explains to Ted why it's important that he pays the IRS. If he doesn't, Ted, Skylar, and Walt WILL go to jail. There's literally no reason for Ted not to want to pay them, he just suddenly gains stupid last minute "morals" while he acts like it isn't his bullshit that got them into that mess. But of course, it's easier to blame the woman that's tried her absolute best to keep these two dumbass criminals from being caught and imprisoned.
Goodness what a phenomenal and tense episode, I'm sweating lmao.
People will say they feel no sympathy for Jaime getting his hand cut off when moments ago he protected a woman who'd been holding him captive from being raped. He didn't have to save her, he has absolutely no reason to. But he did. Please ask yourselves why a guy who tried to kill a child would then go on to save her. Maybe I'm talking out of my ass here, but this current Jaime seems a little different from the one in the beginning of the show.
And anyway, why do characters need to be squeaky clean goodie-two-shoes to garner sympathy? Why can we not just feel bad for folks cause they're going through some rough shit we wouldn't want done to us or our loved ones? Maybe not so much for a generically evil guy like Dany's brother, made only to be hated and then given a brutally "satisfying" death so viewers can cheer. I mean for people like Jaime and Theon who are obviously more than just one-dimensional villains.
We're SO back, guys!!!!!!
Dammit, only 3 episodes left, until the year-long-at-minimum wait for more? I could binge 3 more whole seasons right now.
Man this show is so entertaining lol. Loved the scene at the end.
THE FUCKING VOICE ACTING!!! I was in TEARS during Jaune and Ruby's speeches!
Damn. This episode was nothing but talking yet it's one of the best in the show so far. The conversation between Qrow and Raven was 10/10. Maybe less action isn't such a bad thing haha.
This is it guys, the best TV show in the universe has returned better than ever!!! I was tearing up for at least half the runtime lmao. I'm still a little disappointed that they didn't just release everything at once; I prefer to binge media I like. But regardless, I cannot wait to spend the rest of the week watching reactions until episode 2 comes out!
I've spent most of this show hating it, but this was undoubtedly one of the most insane episodes I've ever seen. I can't wait for my favorite YouTube reactors to get to this episode.
Took 22 episodes but I finally see why this anime is praised so highly.
I haven't seen the anime or read the manga, and all I know is who the main characters are (i.e. who ends up joining Luffy's crew), but man from just this episode alone I hope this show has many seasons and goes on for a very long time. I thoroughly enjoyed watching this and there wasn't a moment where I didn't have a huge smile on my face.
This episode is my childhood! I used to religiously watch a clip of the Slickback part on YouTube as a kid lol.
WHEN TOM PLAYED THE TAPE I LOST IT AND THEN THE FUCKING DANCING :rofl::rofl: Fucking masterpiece episode!!!
Wow, I went in knowing this was filler and expected to be bored stiff, but it's honestly one of the most entertaining episodes. Toph was absolutely hilarious as always, and it was funny seeing everyone react to their counterparts. Toph and Zuko's chat was very satisfying. As another commenter said, I could watch a lot more seasons with Team Avatar and their adventures.
I see Suki, the episode gets rated a 10. Seriously though, these past few episodes have been nothing short of fantastic.
All right, now I see why people love Zuko so much lol.
I can see where Walking Dead 10x21 got it's episode idea from. As with that episode, apparently this is considered to be the worst episode of the show. And despite that, I personally really enjoyed it. I'm glad to see that some others do too.
I dunno, I prefer meaningful speeches like Walt talking about missing his "perfect moment to die" and good storytelling like Jesse talking about his Aunt and the (o)possum over an action-packed sequence, though of course there's a place for that too.
This is the sort of episode most people will hate, but I actually liked it.
All of them squading up at the end got me hype!!!
Kill a main character and the audience calls it the best episode in the show. Rape a main character, and the audience calls it the worst episode in the show.
Remember when those Night's Watch defectors took over Crastor's Hut? And they raped all the women there? And we saw some of it happening on-screen? No one got mad then. No one even mentioned it. Same when Daenerys got raped by Khal Drogo and that was shown on-screen. No one was mad. But then it happens to Sansa off-screen and suddenly the show is "ruined".
Absolutely loved the song at the beginning lol. Wish that could be the intro every time (a shorter TV version, of course).
Beth sacrificed herself for this guy and they kill him off after a few episodes for shock value. Now that both she and Noah are dead, a good chunk of this season feels pointless. Tyreese's death is pointless too, since they only went to that place because of Noah.
Still...this was a very good episode. Showing "This is the beginning" in his notebook afterwards was absolutely perfect. I got chills seeing that.
In just 3 episodes, this season is way better than the first which had 24.
This season was way better than I remember. A great opening theme song, a fantastic fight scene in Episode 7, and some really great character moments/development all around.
Now what I do remember clearly is dropping the show in Volume 5 because it was boring, but I hope I'm wrong about that as well.
