Avatar Studios is a production company launched by Nickelodeon, with Bryan Konietzko and Michael Dante DiMartino as co-chief creative officers. It was announced by Paramount+ on February 24, 2021. The studio will produce brand-new material set in the Avatar universe, including new series, short-form content, spin-offs, and theatrical films.

Animated feature films by Studio Ghibli. While Nausicaä of the Valley of the Wind is not officially created by Studio Ghibli, it's success was the reason the studio was founded, so it deserves a spot on the list.
