The visual effects are the only thing that makes this movie worth watching. The rest is predictable, superficial and not interesting.
It's one of those romantic comedies that gets you lost into it. Dempsey's character had a full potential to be a jerk, but he was so likeable that surprised me.
This movie has such a beautiful message: have courage and be kind.
The chemistry they have on screen won me over and I really enjoyed watching this movie!
I believe that if you don't know his story, there's a big chance that you'll get lost in the timeline or maybe you'll struggle to understand the true impact some decisions had.
Other than that, Fassbender and Winslet made me care about their characters and that kept me engaged thought the movie.
It's worth watching, specially for Charlie Day/Jennifer Aniston storyline. I was not expecting this, but I laughed out loud during some scenes.
Funny movie with likeable characters.
It's a movie with a great humor as one would imagine it'd be. I enjoyed all the characters and believed on those fight scenes, but it's just a little bit too long.
The scene we see on the trailer, the one with a fight after a car crash, is just way too long in my opinion. After a while, I wondered: "wait, why isn't this scene over yet? why are we still here?"
Overall, I had fun watching it.
It's not a memorable movie and at a certain point, I kind of disliked Tony Stark.
I thought Ivan Vanko's motivations weren't explained properly. So, I actually decided to make Justin Hammer the main villain in my head and ended up enjoying the movie a little bit more.
It's a entertaining movie, but they should've given the villain some depth. He was just a flat character and you could tell he was the typical bad guy from the very first scene.
And even though I'm not a big Robert Downey Jr fan, I have to admit he's a great Tony Stark. Like I said, it's an entertaining movie.
I just LOVE this movie. It has great humor, great action scenes and a powerful message: sometimes you have to give up your dreams to be the person everyone needs you to be.
Every time I watch it, I find myself rooting for this guy even though I already know everything that it's gonna happen.
Great super hero movie!
It's a movie that made me admire Steve Rogers and made me appreciate how they showed his principles even after he became Captain America. However, I was indifferent seeing all those fights, It was clear to me that I didn't need to fear for him because he wouldn't be facing nothing he couldn't handle.
The trailer shows the motivation for Leo's revenge and a scene of actual revenge. Between these two, you get 2 hours of Leo surviving into the wilderness.
Good movie about survival, not the best movie about revenge, I might say.
It just felt like they had the need to make a mega plot twist at the end... and that didn't work. Entertaining movie, though, I must say.
To have a superhero movie that doesn't make me go "YOU GO, SPIDEY"... it's just... not right. I want to root for him, I want to feel everything he feels... and I didn't.
I didn't buy Andrew as a shy nerd Peter Parker. I didn't see a boost in his confidence when he became Spiderman.
By the way, come on, man, just keep your damn mask on. There must be a reason why you have it, right?
Even though the movie was about the sailors' relationships and how a traumatic experience affects people, I was rooting for more "moby dick"! Come on, gigantic whale, come back and crush them!
Some scenes gave me the feels, you could really tell those miners created a bond.
There was not a single moment in this movie that made me care about what was happening or made me believe the characters could do any of that. By the way, the romance is incredibly silly and rushed. I read about a 100 pages before deciding to drop it. Oh boy, was I right.
A visually stunning movie that made me entertained until a certain point, but then I started to realize I didn't really care about the plot or some of the characters. Britt Robertson, however, does a great job as Casey Newton.
All I can say is: I should've watched it sooner. I started to watch it a little bit skeptical but found myself laughing at the jokes and rooting for Emmet throughout his journey. A definitely pleasant surprise.
