I get why everyone is pissed, cz I'm pissed too. But in the end and deep down in our hearts we knew this was coming. One of them is gonna die and one of them is gonna have to live a full life and bring the next generation Winchester out into the world. It was a given in my opinion. Or on the other hand they both die and we still are pissed off about it. The writers just had the audacity to not mention anyone in this last episode of the effing SERIES! Like, WHAT!? WHY!? Why wasn't Cas there to welcome Dean? Why didn't the other hunters come back? Why didn't jack come to meet Dean and Sam? What happened to Judy and the girls? Just why did they had to die anyway? Why did Dean die like that? Why did I ugly cry when Dean was dead and then again when Sam was on his death bed taking his last breathe and then again when Carry On was playing?? WHY? WHY?? UGH!!!
I'm just happy its finally over. But seriously, so many questions were unanswered.
"we kept amethyst" HAHA i'm dying
This was just such an unnecessary episode. Leaving it at ep 19 would have been acceptable, instead they conjured up a quasi happily ever after that they pulled out of their ass. Leaving more questions then a wrap up should.
No reference to the reappearance of the people they “cared” about, not even a phone call? What killed dean? They couldn’t go to the hospital? Jack brought everyone back but not Cass? Wait cass is back just dgaf about them anymore? Is Sam with Eileen or some rando? No check in to see how old god is going. Not catch up with jack, is he alone now he’s god or what? No reunion of the whole family
Plus we’ve seen the long teary speech between brothers and drive in a car a thousand times before so don’t tell me they just ran out of time to show it all.
Like a lifetime movie all emotion no substance nor sensical to the story line.
Maybe I'm the only one with this opinion, but the two winners did not win their respective lip syncs. Monét and Yvie both fucking killed it onstage. Are we crowning winners or are we crowning senior citizens? #riggamorris
PSA: hold ON through the credits there are TWO post-credit scenes
Piss off. This was not the ending the series or the characters deserved after everything.
HOW did trixie GO HOME and PEARL stayed??? trixie nailed the lipsync and had more to show than pearl. pearl's only pretty. but whatever. i'm done with this season.
i actually ended up discovering today who won this season and... everytime i see her i think "oh no, HOW did she win??"
this season will be my least favorite, i know it. never wanna watch again.
Lady Kamden was utterly robbed. With Angeria being in a very close 2nd place, or even 1st place, and none of the others were even close to those 2. They both got robbed... For Jorgejous?? Who wore some tattered clothing, and that was literally it. And not just tattered clothing, but one that had the color of old mustard and a washed out blue. Michelle even called it simple, and the other girls were shocked when Kamden was safe.
No, just no.
7/10
Good episode with a few uninteresting parts. Vi and Jayce are the 2 best characters so far and Jinx keeps on becoming worse for me.
this actually surprised me. at first it's always a little difficult to understand and enjoy a new drag race dynamic, but by the end of the episode i was already enjoying it. the 'new rules' lipsync was great and the runway had a lot more hits than misses. i find it strange that ru and michelle are judging people from a different drag culture.
What the hell Ru lmao?! How many chances is Tia gonna get that she already hasn't had????
So hard to understand what they are saying...thank God for closed captioning.
But she is just GORGEOUS! And what a sweetheart!
Ngl the biggest mystery for me this season has got to be Filip. More precisely, what the hell is going on inside his head?!
I can't read him. And I really wanted to know his side of the story. Like, is he all in with Marco's plan now? Or is he fed up with that manipulative asshole? Cause he was acting pretty weird in this episode. Is he on the fence about this whole thing, maybe because getting to see Naomi in person changed his perspective a bit?!
She had to leave she wasn't funny at all
i don't like these queens, this challenge was awkward for a first challenge and i'll miss santino, but let's go. party.
There's moments of this show that have me putting it in my top shows of the year - it's that damn good. And others where I'm scratching my head. I'm still conflicted on the leads performance, whether it's just limited by character or by acting ability. I've never been a big Gwendoline Christie fan, but when her casting as Lucifer was announced, I was excited - thinking it a bold choice. I'm not so sure it paid off - though I did enjoy the climatic moments with Morpheus (more due to editing and score than anything). David Thewlis, whilst a good actor, feels like he plays the same character in every big budget production. I'm expecting him to rise into the air and scream that he's Ares, the God of War.
Lastly - maybe it's due to lack of focus, but I don't know what any of the special items actually do, other than the Protection necklace. Someone mentions the Ruby make dreams come true, but has the sand not being doing that as well? Some clarity would be greatly appreciated. Maybe it's me though.
So a few problems but I'm gladly going to follow this. I also definitely want to pick up Sandman issues - despite trying and not liking the comic series initially. So overall that's a win.
By stats Alaska deserved it but KATYA FOREVER HAS MY HEART. SORRY.
Love Drag Race! So much. Hate the All Star rules.
this was the less exciting first all stars episode ever... it was kinda weird, i don't know, i don't like it. the lipsync assassin thing isn't better than the lip sync for your legacy, it feels like a trick to have some fanfavorites back on the show. i love yvie and can't wait to see which are the next assassins, BUT i wish it was the same format as past seasons, so we could have a battle between the queens on THIS season - THEY're the ones who have to shine.
i love that we have jujubee here, she's brings the charisma with her (charisma that we had a lot in the last three seasons but it's missing on this one). shea, mother, brings the talent and the nerve. cracker, the comedy. the others, i don't know... the tea is the reading mini-challenge had only one winner and that was juju. also, ongina should be on the bottom instead of mayhem, and i'm glad miller didn't go home.
World and atmosphere becomes more interesting as it goes although it reminds me more and more of Bioshok, sadly characters are going backwards. I guess, it's my fault for buying into narrative around Arcane as a promising character study or trauma exploration. Mature at the very least.
I love all those tropes and characters dynamics. The way this series started that was a perfect storm of familiar stepping stones in the plot and character archetypes: the main character, the gang, roguish father figure with dark past. I really liked the escalation and Vi's decision to face the music that led to such tragedy.
But after timeskip Arcane lost it charm. Characters that supposed to become more complex turned into one note - Jinx and Vi. The "Batman" might work eventually, but we will see. Speaking of Batman. Cupcake and Vi should be my favorite thing especially with the hints of romance with that banter... Look, I really love those cliches, alright? And yet I see too many strings. Final nail - Victor's thing ...that's too many familiar beats. At this rate, amnesia mind be on the writer's table.
polly looks so good in a tie
Please give all the awards in the world to Gillian Anderson. What a performance she gifts us on this episode!
I don't know... the challenge is called "evil twin" and the judges are complaining that some costumes are too similar looking. There was nothing twin-like about most of the concepts, except for Kameron's and Eureka's. I get that Kameron's outfits were more Halloween than drag, but I think she nailed the idea. Don't name the challenge "evil twin" if you don't want a good vs evil iteration of the same outfit!
"Why didn't you burn his body with the others in the fuselage?"
"Because the writers needed it to be accessible now."
Always thought this episode was kind of dumb. I understand not telling Sawyer anything, but if Kate had just told Jack that there was a memento of hers inside, that would've avoided all of the conflict. But, no, gotta drum up some drama over nothing. Also, Sawyer had literally handed the case to her at first, but she passed it off in an attempt to make it seem unimportant. That was stupid as hell.
The idea of an unpickable lock is kind of funny, after watching a bunch of LockpickingLawyer videos. Although it would indeed be difficult with the supplies on hand.
I'm not soure if it's because covid or not but this one definitely felt like different storylines from multiple episodes packed into one. Uneven.
Also while I like the show's deeper tones, and they can definitely hit gut punches, I find it very hard to believe that all of these characters of the show who live for backstabbing, who always sleep with one eye open because being assholes to eachother is in their veins, so that these characters making a 180° turn seems like a big step to take. I mean in C.W.'s case I can believe that after 30 years he at least apologises and decides to make a little bit of change about his life. That's a good place for him to start. But for everyone else? For the rest of the crew it seems a big step to take, a step so big that while I embrace it and go with the show, I'm also unsure if they can stick the landing, because honestly, it's difficult to believe that they actually mean what they say or do and it's not just a show for powerplay, and this is kinda undermining that serious tone they usually hit very well.
I knew it. You get pregnant by kissing.
TATI DESERVED BETTER
I love Ru (or production) obsession with DISCO by the legendary legend Miss Kylie Minogue!
There was no way Shea wasn´t going to make it to the finale.
