Just been rescued after months of painful, psychologically-traumatising incarceration at the hands of the multiverse's biggest, nastiest speedster? Pull out the "I can't leave - what about my life, my friends!?" line when your father tries to save you from a horrible death.
Whoever wrote that needs a whipping.
Great episode. I might need to do an Aliens marathon.
Every time I see Kane, I can't help but think of Desmond and how I miss his accent in Lost.
human body can literally withstand so much shit.
as seen in this episode, it's terrific, horrific and shocking to see them willingly accept a fucking radioactive duty which can fuck their life up pretty good but the KFuckingGB won't take international help. what a fucked up world. we need better international relationship across the globe to survive in such catastrophic events.
Humanity must strive for a better world from every small aspect to survive as a species
fucking make the whole world pop a tab of LSD and melt into oneness
Whoever talks shit about Monty deserves to be hit lbh.
One of the best episodes ever made! Amazing!
I don’t get the Cara Delevingne hate. More tolerable than Amy Schumer.
I like how they're trying to make the Sand Snakes more interesting (Rosabell Laurenti Sellers cof* cof*). Cersei, you´re almost there, walk the walk Queen Mother!
So, is Westworld the official Prequel to Altered Carbon now?
How come there's 7 votes to something that wasn't even released yet?! The rating system should only be available after release.
Well, Canon was definitely delivered. Damn.
Thea has the best line. "A bunch of superheroes hiding out at a farm house, I feel like I have seen that before in a movie."
GOD, chaotic bisexual variant loki twins is my vibe now.
I miss this type of episodes in Star Trek, I'm glad to see it brought back. Not only that, this was a good way to end the arc of the doctor and his daughter, neatly tied to the book too.
I hope this is not the end of the his daughter's story and they'll revisit her in the next seasons. There are questions to be answered and possibilities to explore regarding the nebula. Was it something like the Prophets in DS9? Time is irrelevant? But they're stuck in one place?
Who knows. But I for one would like to know more about it.
Thank you. I love this episode.
F...., never been so angry for an episode ending before now..... (Read the book)
Great first episode. This feels much more like a Star Wars movie than the current trilogy.
Trek as it should be! Great final episode of a fantastic first season. Can't wait for the next season. Why were there only 10 episodes?!
It felt so frustrated at the end of this episode. All I want is more. Why is it that the shows I love most have the shortest season? 23 episode of The Flash but GOT is like gone in the blink of an eye.
This episode gave me such happy teary moments about halfway through to the end. The actual sweetness of this show (w/o being schmaltzy) is so tremendous. I absolutely loved it. Can't wait for it to continue in January but I so don't want it to be over.
Holden: Guys! Guys!!!
Fred Johnson: What did you do?
Holden: There was a button. I pushed it.
Fred: Jesus Christ. That's really how you go through life, isn't it.
Wish I could rate this an 11. I need to go back and rate every other episode of other shows down one.
HANDS DOWN TO THE SASSIER TRIO ON TELEVISION: CAPTAIN COLD, HEATWAVE AND WHITE CANARY.
One of the greatest Game of Thrones episodes EVER, from the start to the finish. May this season be the best one so far!
Malcolm: And no offense none of you are particularly good actors.
Tell me that was not funny :-P
Elliot and Mr. Robot talking in unison was horrifying. Actually the whole therapy scene was. Esmail really turning up the horror this season.
Honestly this might be my favourite episode so far, although I have pretty much been feeling that way for every new episode. What could have been a fairly clichéd and generic "alt universe/role reversal" story was elevated by the beautifully emotional conclusion to an ongoing plot thread. I was expecting to laugh going in, but I certainly did not think I would end the episode in tears.
This episode was a masterpiece. I love how the machine runs simulations. I love Finch's lesson about "anyone who treats life like a game of chess deserves to lose". I loved the simplified dialogue. I love both kisses. Fusko/Root for whimsy, and Shaw/Root because finally.
But I don't want to see Shaw go. She feels integral to everything. Apparently the actress Sarah Shahi is pregnant so this is the way they deal with that, but that means she is going to be jobless in a year or two, and we never saw the dead body. No body, no death. She got shot a lot but we have seen everyone else come back from worse. It took a grenade in the face to kill Reese in the simulation. So she'll be back. Calling it now.
It was so emotional at the end that I cried, even though the wigs were hideous
I am so excited for season 6 that I have already forgotten my hate for O, Clarke & Abbie xD
