This documentary made no sense. The first girl was from Norway and sometimes in London but had her Mum in her phone as ‘Mom’? I think the producers faked a lot of this and that is just one red flag for me to not believe this one sided story.

Can't even imagine the emotional and financial damage he inflicted upon so many women. Victim blaming is easy when you haven't been in the shoes of the other person. I'm glad they got their power back in some way, 'cause many of these assholes take advantage of discretion and these women made sure he was known for who he really is: a piece of shit, like one of them said, pathetic, definitely, and a criminal. Whoever's with him now won't be able to say they didn't know what they were getting into.

It kept me glued to the screen, but with absolute disgust. I wanted to stop this restaurant-version of Alice in Borderlands. Seriously what a f'ed up story. Maybe I should rate this nightmare of a burger joint higher for the amazing acting performances, but... ugh. No. Just dont waste your time on this movie and just order a cheeseburger with fries.

-3 for the title alone. What the hell were they thinking? Absolutely horrible title. By comparison the movie was amazing.
With the amount of setup at the beginning, one would think Benny's music or side hustle would have had more bearing on the plot. Nope, that was a wasted 15 minutes or useless backstory.
And the entire premise of a of a handful of humans keeping the vampires in check in a neighborhood is just stupid. Doubly so when we see that these vampires have moronic levels of superspeed. Although, since the vamps never use it in a fight, maybe....
Then we have an idiotic main character that discovers a bag full of bloody money belonging to the ladies he is driving around. So what does he do? He goes and finds them. Yeah, that makes sense...
Apparently the five heads of the territories are all chumps. They are pushovers killed by two minions. Well, really one minion and a minion of a minion. Yep, makes sense...
Then the main character is still studying for his class even though he can never attend because it is during the day. Gotcha, totally makes sense...
And the plot never gets any better...

I really didn't like Him very much.
Lui / Him is like the French word 'écureuil' (squirrel): there are no consonants in the middle so, with nothing to latch on to, it just drifts off into incoherence.
A man alone in an isolated house carries on imaginary conversations with his loved ones and because nothing is real (or is it?), the movie is like a KFC: no stakes :wink:.
In fact, the film is really an excuse for Guillaume Canet to save money on therapy by making us pay him to perform it, but what's most surprising is that a celebrity's psychoanalysis is so mundane, banal, and boring all at once.
The good news is, no one will be able to spoil the ending for you because this movie doesn't have one.

Rush Hour in French. Sure it's campy and cliche like most comedies but it's fun. it's a little more blunt on confronting racism and white supremacist terrorists than American films, so some Americans might get their panties in a twist that this is what most of Europe, Canada and over half the USA thinks is the world's biggest threat. We tend to be so sensitive to supremacist "feelings" we try to white-ize everything to make them more comfortable. This movie definitely doesn't do that.
It's for some great laughs, pretty cool scenes along the French countryside and near the Alps. Great actors, good storyline and a bit of unpredictability. If you don't like listening in French and trying to read and watch at the same time, Netflix has the English sound overlayed and it's not overly obvious when the lip sync doesn't match up.
Recommend it, if you like crime-comedy, and campy.

If you're a visual learner like me, you'll enjoy this movie. It's a sci-fi masterpiece, because of the visual story telling and the lack of dialog and stunts. Kubrik and co. created this in 1968. Decades before CGI and other special effect technology.
I find some of the brand placement funny given how they drastically changed from 1968 to 2001. Pan Am went bankrupt, IBM doesn't make computers anymore, Hilton hotels won't be able to raise the capital to build space hotels today .... and so on. I'm sure in 1968 all three brands were at their prime.
Now. If only Steven Spielberg would make the final 2 books of Arthur C. Clarke's Odyssey series into movies , that’d be great!
