The real question is why the hell did the guy charge money for snacks at the white house?
Funny as shit. And then sad as hell when you realize it's basically just a documentary.
Absolutely fantastic. A well-executed original idea, packed with brilliant performances, impactful suspense, and many absurd laugh-out-loud moments.
Justin Long using the rape dungeon as an opportunity to boost his listing square footage is the most realistic portrayal of an AirBnB host I’ve ever seen.
"The amazing trio of fucked up brothers". For a moment, a very brief moment, I believed that they were really going to unite to "save" the company, but I realized that they would not last and never did. perpetuating these power games.
To Shiv and Roman with their affectionate moment realized that they are broken and Ken, unfortunately, was unable to realize that.
I felt like I was seeing my family come together and I had a huge blow to see that fight - especially with Kendall like that, falling off the building without having thrown himself.
And in the end, the succession went to the most unpredictable, but clear that it could and, perhaps, should be him. Tom finally got the Empire of the Roys without being a Roy.
End of season 10/10 Thank you, HBO.
I hate Criston Cole so much.
They weren't lying about the name of the episode.
Coming into this episode, I was afraid they wouldn't be able to live up to the hype of the "Who's dead?" issue. This was the PERFECT ending. They tied every storyline together, especially Celeste and Jane's (twice). Really happy about this show (btw that kumbaya ending was exactly what we all needed)
It felt like something was missing, I would've loved if they could've added at least two more episodes to explore all these events, the season was full of time skips which I despise in any show and the whole show felt rushed, somewhat sad for a show this great to end this way imo
It felt rushed. They wrapped things up in 15 minutes and the rest was a flash forward to a Sally play and a spoof movie? No.
The kids part is still far more interesting than the adults half.
What starts out as a standard horror film soon turns into a plain dumb, unbearable and often incomprehensible hot mess that tries too hard to shock and forgets to entertain. Genuinely surprised seeing its average rating on Letterboxd as this garbage should have never been made and is undeserving of such high ratings. Yikes.
They better not kill off Gene! Almost losing Hank was hard enough.
The thing with the last season of Barry, despite being a good one, it's that I think the series has said more meaningful and done more creative in previous seasons. While there's a interesting take there at the end, I think it really lacked a bit more to say about everything else.
Poor writing and story arc can't be wiped away by 10 minutes of flashy combat scenes.
The way the covenant planted that girl was the most obviously sus shit ever, lol.
A very intriguing and interesting and creative episode.
Some disappointments, and the Saul's selection baffles me, but there must be a reason. Looking forward to season 2. Hope I don't have to wait 400 years for answers. :flushed::thumbsup_tone1:
what a fucked up way to end a story...wow...i like every moment...gonna miss the show and the characters...
The whole episode Kendall literally did not make sense until the presentation. Meanwhile Shiv and Tom are working hard to ruin the brothers. I'm all down for the Shiv betrayal.
Minority Report was so goddamn cool. Absolutely incredible, perfect first hour and forty-seven minutes, followed by a still pretty good but not amazing last act. The concept itself, the themes it explored, the visual style, the camera movements, the opening sequence, the music, the in-universe technology, the twists and turns. It's just a great movie, one of the best sci-fi films I've ever seen.
If you're a fan of the first couple movies, don't watch this. You're going to be very disappointed..
-how tense!
-Sally's meltdown by the pool was so wonderfully done by Sarah Goldberg, she's an unsung MVP
-Hank's confession had me in stitches
-this with ronny/lily are the best of this season so far
I know nothing about the game, but this first episode has me very interested in the series.
such an incredible way to return to barry. barry has gone even crazier, sally’s parents suck, hank and cristobal are in santa fe, and gene is going viral. that last scene was incredible. can’t wait for more
A nice sloping start to the season. I can see this is going to be tension filled. Streep is a fantastic addition.
Love this show. Where else can you see 2 bros being homeoerotic and toxic masculine - and funny - in one scene, and Simone making a heart wrenching deciosion shortly afyer
