Jesus Christ! I can’t remember to feel so tense watching a tv show episode as I felt here. Absolutely perfect. Can’t wait for season 2!!!!
Only after the episode ended did I have time to stop and have the realization that there were no cuts once you were in the restaurant.
Jesus Christ cousin! I feel like I need to just sit down, swig some whiskey and let this episode marinate in my mind. I feel raw just being on the sidelines of this absolute pressure cooker of a family unit; I can only imagine what living like this would do to your psyche after years and years of exposure. It adds so much context to the Berzattos, and finally answers why they're the way that they are. Possibly one of the best episodes of television ever, and an absolute ensemble of powerhouse performances. The Emmys better put some respect on the Bear, it's absolutely phenomenal.
Sometimes a show is so fucking good you don’t want it to end.
this season hasn't left my mind once since it came out weeks ago and frankly i don't want it to
ooh we're back! in today's episode, aziraphale even more overtly trusts crowley
props to my boy Dylan G for holding that position for what seemed like an eternity!
Dare I say… best episode of Loki yet? Definitely the best this season. Everything about it was PERFECT.
I never thought that Marvel would dare to do a scene like that, where Rabona and Miss Minutes murder the former AVT agents in cold blood, woww... it was too strong a scene.
will poulter's character is probably the best mentor marcus could have. he's so calm, patient and open. I'm curious to see the growth that the Copenhagen trip will bring to Marcus (in his culinary skills and in general).
will poulter, the man you are
"Women are born with pain built in." Wow, what a beautiful line (that whole scene was wonderful, too). Such a well-written episode.
Oh wow. I am watching this episode whenever I'm in a slump.
This series really captured the spirit of One Piece. I am completely caught off guard by how good it is. There is so much story to retell. Looking fwd to it.
My take on it was once Mikey realized he was going to kill himself he decided to start saving money to give to Carmy. One he thought he had enough he placed it in tomato cans so the people he owes money too couldn’t get it and then took his own life.
i expected pain but to break my heart like that??
This live adaptation has broken the bad anime adaptation curse. It captured 85% of the original anime.
sheeeesh that juxtaposition at the end ??????? and also i'm amazed by how such subtle things added so much to the storytelling and tone and of the ending scene due to the cast's characterization this past season (e.g. sister michael's expression changing showing how the derry girls' silly little thing managed to touch a cynic like her despite it all, joe putting a hand on gerry's shoulder highlighting just how grave and serious current events were)
Loki is the most well-developed character in the MCU. This ending was truly worthy of the character!:green_heart:
The best growth of any character in the entire story, period. Amazing. As sad as it is he was destined to be alone, he always did have glorious purpose.
Might be my fav episode of the season so far. Full of hope and redemption.
Wow. Just… wow! Incredible episode and a perfect palate cleanser for the ultimate-Christmas-from-hell episode.
“You have… ONE hour!”
crack
“You have… five… minutes”
:sob:
Finally back! I missed this
I’ll say it again, the growth of Loki throughout this series has been absolutely phenomenal. To go from a selfish villain to a selfless hero has been an epic journey. This is MARVEL in all its glory!
ARE YOU FUCKING KIDDING ME ?!!??!?!?! I'M IN PIECES
last 15 mins I was having the most emotional full body reaction. I was sweating n crying n breathing heavy. I'M STILL CRYING NOW??
THEY'RE IN LOVE AHHHHHHHH GO CRAZY AHHHHHHHHH GO STUPID
10/10. Peak. This might be one of the best comic book TV finales or even episodes ever. Maybe this is recency bias but I don’t really care, this straight up floored me. Incredible.
