That was... so rough. The overall message though, with the last scene, "it was so much fun", the christmas celebration after filled with grief and laughter ... sobbing. in tears. i can't believe. what a beautiful show.
this may be my favorite episode of drag race of all time??? the hyper masculine jock types getting their shit together, manila & her drag sister's connection ("are you mad at me?" "i'm just stressed right now" "you'll be fine, bro." "thank you"), the dunk minigame, the return of carmen, AND THAT FINAL LIPSYNC??!?!

i still vividly remember watching this episode for the first time, sitting on the foot of my bed in my parents house during the summer of college with the laptop resting on the footboard, my window ac unit whirring in the background, entranced in the relationship of these humans to the spirit world and that final connection of aang and the ocean spirit... i dare say it changed my life.

I can't quite remember if I hadn't gotten treatment for my depression yet when I first watched this episode but the recognition I felt and the impact this episode had on me... ugh. the storyline was so well done and the actress fucking nailed it and ughhh this show. I love it so much.
I love a good hijinks bottle episode type situation in my sitcoms and this is probably one of the best ones there is

honestly i'm so glad mimi went home like she reminded me of an ex-friend (ex for a reason) and she was really getting on my nerves. everyone is really growing on me and although i do have favorites i feel like i genuinely like pretty much everyone that's left now.

I love kids shows because at the end of the day the kids actually have some power and adults learn from the kids, where as in the real world there are adults like the coach who will die before having to take the advice of a kid
