Do I need to have any background knowledge before I watch this show? I'm episode 5 and I don't understand much of what is going on.
They only show where I never know what's going on, but I can't stop watching it.

Great, grat show. You won't get bored watching this. I wish more shows were like this... 20 mins episodes are perfect. Really easy and fun to watch!
By far, my favourite TV show.
If you are looking for a show that ~somehow~ makes you feel like LOST I'll suggest you to give Westworld a try.
After the 3rd or 4th season it gets really hard to watch. I will use the word 'boring' because I cannot stay focus in any episode by any means, after those first four seasons. I only force myself to watch it because I've already seen the 7 seasons, but it is really painful.
Season 2 was good. But the seasons 1 and 3 were somehow hard to stay focused in some episodes.
