One of the best shows this year
It's one of my favorite documentaries. I like how the director captures the life of each person. It's wonderful to see the different perspectives of life the citizens have, some view work as a way to life and some work as one of the many different thinks to do in life. For sure, some of these people praise money as their God and life passes by through their eyes. All of the sudden everything changes as the carnival approaches. They remember that we are supposed to live and not only work. Poor money management makes them go crazy to live a little moment of leasure, and that never ending cycle of working insanely continues
I finished the book recently and when I was watching this movie I thught I was reading the book again. This is one of the best adaption of a book I've ever seen. The acting was great. Leonardo DiCaprio did a marvelous work, as always. I also love Toby McGuire performance. The worst is the music, too modern for that age.
- Only minus that I can think of is that the movie mentions 24 identities but we only get to see up to 7 or 8. It's not really a big deal, but it made me feel a little dispointed when the movie finished..
- Overall feel : I was sucked in from start to finish, truly a magnificient movie 10/10
