@misterwho Caitlin Snow doesn't need a mask to perform surgery PLUS she has Allegra and Cecile in the room without scrubs or masks either and when they closed up on UltraViolet I was like 'where did she open her up? Where is the blood, why is she not in a gown?'
The weird choppy visual of the worlds coming within "sight" of each other, like some sort of TV signal being erratically interrupted, was odd. I very much doubt something like that would look so sharply back-and-forth choppy. But, IMO, that's a relatively small complaint in yet another solid segment of the story.
A larger complaint might be: Why does no one seem to remember the existence of others who might be able to help: Kara, Barry, Jefferson, etc? That story-hole has been annoying me much more, lately.

@thogek The answer to the complaint is that this show is taking place years after the other shows. Remember the crisis of infinite earths (the last crossover), that was Jonathan and Jordan were babies. so, all of that happened years ago. this is a different time now.

Great episode but here we go with the CW bringing sexuality in as a subject where its not required or been asked for. This series has been amazing, DO NOT start to change things and PC it into a shit show.

@mavrik316 It's just matter of time, let's hope we get 2 more good seasons. But the way episode 1 has gone, I highly doubt we'll make it to end of Season 2 before The CW "woke'fys" the show. At least we still have HBO Max making badass DC Comics shows.

It sure was weird to watch that geology guy from The Big Bang Theory doing the exact same role, minus the rocks.
This episode seems to have slowed things down and ended up not being on par with that great season premiere. Not that much happened. I hope they'll pick up the pace again in the next episode.
The soundtrack, though, continues to score points on my book (The Jesus and Mary Chain's Darklands, I own and love that album!). Gotta love the '80s!loading replies
@misnomer Agreed, I'm also all in for Henry Rollins as the botany/poisons professor, him talking about Reagan's "handling" of the AIDS epidemic was easily the best moment of this episode.

Nice pun! Though, I enjoyed the episode.
It's a magical show so they undoubtedly have a fountain of ideas to draw from. They'll be back around next week to cap it off with a spectacular white button finish. Yum.
This movie is about a protagonist who is a murdering rapist, yet for some reason you are sorta kinda rooting for him. What the fuck? A Clockwork Orange literally makes me uncomfortable in the opening 30min or so. The terrible things Alex does are excruciating to watch through, especially when he belts out "Singing in the Rain". Then after that, you are just following his punishment and for some reason hoping for his release from jail.
Outside of the story, the camera work is great as always. Also, I love the musical choices. Both standard Beethoven and electronic Beethoven are always wonderful. But on top of that you get some nice horse racing music to enhance an, un, entertaining scene. The future 70s design is pretty great as well. Gotta get me one of those coffee tables they have in the opening shot.
It really bothers me that I am sorta kinda on Alex's side, and that is why I think this is an amazing film. The fact that Kubrick makes you feel wrong is astounding. Him and Malcolm McDowell just really know how to work together. The fact that Alex is so charming and funny is a big part of what does this. When you know he's still a terrible person at the end, you still end up laughing at his manipulative interaction with the politician feeding him. Why the hell am I laughing that a robbing, murdering, rapist eating food pompously?
If you hate this movie, you're probably a better, moraler person than me.

Mary’s situation was too obvious, she was too good to be true, however I don’t see a problem with her past considering it has no relation to Sherlock or John, it was a coincidence that she ended up meeting and falling for John and her past has nothing to do with any of them so after all that was clarified I feel like John was being dramatic.
I almost got mad when Sherlock was with Jenine in front of John cause in my mind Sherlock and John belong together! Is there a ship name for that? It’s just that I can only see John for his emotional value to Sherlock cause like Magnussen said, he is of no use.
And I loved how they fixed the Magnussen problem! Shows always drag conflicts and the answer was really simple, so I liked that they did the logical and simple thing.loading replies

I want to start this by saying that I do not think the show is bad. But. And here comes the rant bit. As someone who adores and loves the show "Hannibal" (NBC) to bits. This is a blatant rip off, one I wish they had the courtesy of acknowledging it in it's credits. This lack of acknowledgement is almost 'rude' :).
Comparisons to hannibal makes the show laughable at Lots of points.
Overall It's a nice enough show, albeit predictable at times, but I'm looking forward to seeing how this goes.

I had the exact same thought by about halfway through the premiere! If I hear the show gets better I may try again, but unless or until then, I'll just give Hannibal another rewatch.
