If I was a patriotic American who thrives on the idea of being the Freeworlds judge, jury and executioners, I would love this. However I am not. The hollow script doesn't even begin to touch on anything remotely close to motivation for Rebel/Terrorists and just paints them as evil doers who must be vanquished by the forces of good. A tired tact reminiscent of 60's propaganda films. At least Homeland is smart about it's blatant racism.

Watching the pilot this seemed like just another show, I wasn't going to continue with it until I saw the closing scene.
No, it's not a great technical movie. it IS Low Budget... BUT the pacing is great and there are some fantastic long shots, and music by Aesop Rock, don't avoid it because of cinema snobbery reviews, it's still fun.
If you watch this, please also watch the CIA attempted over throw of Venezuelan in the non-Murdoch owned Documentary 'The Revolution Will Not Be Televised' https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Id--ZFtjR5c . Also follow Abby Martins meeting with the protesters https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ig6yFP8HjVQ . Any over throw of Venezuela will be funded by those who wish to de-nationalize the Oil industry.
The Leftovers proposed that the afterlife was a dream like state. Nora died during her attempt to enter the 'other side'. This final episode showed that Nora was in a dream like state (the cottage, the town, her job) and Kevin had finally died from a heart attack and reunited with her in the afterlife.
This show started with promise but has since turned into a kaleidoscope, pretty visuals but is in essence just chaotic and random.
But... it... didn't.... finish.... :(
A highly confronting watch that challenged my viewpoint. The most interesting part is after watching a documentary on the Men's Rights advocates is telling someone about it and gauging their response which has been formed by populist media narratives.
Israel got caught launching an illegal cyber attack on another country and this was made as a 'We had to do it' piece.
The documentary is told from the Israeli perspective. The Iran nuclear question should be asked at the same volume of the Israeli Nuclear question. Iran is a signatory to the IEA and NNPT, Israel is not. Israel has not disclosed its stockpile, Iran has no stockpile.
Concerns are warranted, but this documentary is subjective with no balance.
It slowly spirals toward light propaganda.
Killer Episode - brings the shows rating way up, it's all stitched together by an idiot savant.
Clumsy, disjointed, no time spent building. Meeh.
Dark. Akira. Confusing. Wondrous Aesthetic.
Quite simply one of the funnest episodes in television history.
