I really wanted to like the finale but I'm not feeling it tbh... Feels like this is a conclusion to a completely different show than the one we've been watching the last couple of years. Despite this finale, I still think the show as a whole is one of the best I've ever watched.
Don't get me wrong, this was a solid episode with good cinematography and excellent acting, but it felt a little out of character for the show. Seems like this was more of a show-reel for Sam Esmail's directing talent, which is completely fine of course. I expected more, however, from the Vera subplot. The big revelation was quite lackluster, and the change in aspect ratio was mildly annoying.
This episode gave me serious season 1 vibes, awesome!
Absolutely horrible, so many scenes making no sense at all. This whole season they've been outsmarted by Devoe and now they beat him like it's nothing. Don't even get me started on the way how they beat him. The scenes inside Devoe's mind were ridiculous, Barry could just run Ralf through the portal from the get go. And Devoe is defeated because Ralf escaped Devoe's mind?
Arrow, Legends and The Flash all suffer from the same disease; seasons of 20+ episodes which are filled with bullshit. They're dragging out the story line with filler episodes and repeating the same old shit.
Man, this episode was heartbreaking.
Undoubtedly one of the best episodes in the history of The Walking Dead.
Weak ending to a great show, way too many questions unanswered.
So good! I find the outbreak scenario more interesting than surviving the postoutbreak to be honest. Can't wait to see where the show goes and I hope Tobias returns, he is awesome.
Quite disappointing, the show has become so slow...
Possibly one of the best season finales I've ever seen.
Excellent episode! I love the segments of Jhon and Jaha trying to find the city of light.
Finally an episode that isn't 40 minutes of nothing.
