CAUSE SHE'S GOT A GREEAAAT ASS !!
I mean this with the greatest of respect, but I feel like this is made for the generation of people currently on Twitter replying to all cinema posts with "sksksksk fr fr yasssssss we WILL be seated". It's an interesting twist on the high school, raunchy comedy with a gay twist, but nothing really comedically landed for me throughout the majority of this. I really did enjoy the soundtrack and aesthetic of the movie though, and the outtake sizzle reel at the end was great. Just alright, not to the heights that the internet would have you believe, but still decent enough.
Poirot: And please, do not fraternize with that creature. I am still training him.
Hastings: It's only a parrot.
Poirot: I was talking to the parrot.
Watson and Hastings would really have so much to commiserate about with one another...
This episode is awesome!!!!!!!
After a mediocre last few seasons, this season was a real return to form.
I’ve avoided Chapo Trap House and everything adjacent to it completely by accident until now. And now I can say I get it. I get why we hate them now
The Rings Of Power - Season One: 6.8/10 (Above Average, Yet Flawed)
An uneven season with a disappointing and uninteresting conclusion. Was the show really as terrible as some fans claimed? Certainly not, but neither is it that good. The season as a whole has lacked any sort of heart, and this includes but is not limited to the show's sluggish tempo, its very thin characterization, and its wooden acting. The final result gives the impression that the only goal was to cash in on a well-known IP, and it comes across as being dishonest, as if the creators weren't really invested in the show. Beyond its stunning visuals, “The Rings of Power” hasn't really accomplished anything. There were certainly some high points to the first season of “The Rings of Power,” but they were more homages to the Peter Jackson trilogy than original creations. This was a decent way to kill time, but otherwise leaves one wanting more. With more seasons to go, there's hope that the show's creators will iron out the kinks. They have everything they need; they just need to put it together in the right order. I won't miss the show, but it had enough positives for me to return for a hopefully better next season.
