All of Us Are Dead has all the feels you'd expect from Train to Busan (unrelated) in the teen drama/school setting. It's finger-lickin' freakin' good! :poultry_leg::sweat_smile:
This is a decent web series based on existing properties. It reminds of the Mortal Kombat web series and some of the shows that would air on Fox and WB back in the 90s in the afternoon like Mortal Kombat: Conquest, Hercules, and Xena. The costume designs are pretty cool, and choreography is pretty good, sprinkle a little comedy bits in there. Jason David Frank as Bloodshot was probably the highlight for me in the first three episodes. I hope they do a season two and feature the other character in the Valient universe, Rai.
I've been meaning to catch this show after finding out about it on Amazon related items being similar to the Tron films. So now Shout Factory TV is doing a marathon of it on Twitch just after finishing the Twin Peaks marathon on Showtime (how convenient!). Some well known actors make an appearance in this, and it's great to see them look so young!
Plenty of Easter Eggs in the new MacGyver. I spotted a little bit of this, a little bit of that.
Even the opening theme song makes a neat throwback to it.
Haha, I didn't realize just how good this show was until I watch it as an adult, and understanding the jokes.
I remember seeing some MacGyver when it originally aired on TV back in the early 90s. I always admired the concept and how Angus somehow always managed to escape any situation. I only just now realized that the series started in 1985 (my year!) so now I'm on the verge of going through the entire series. Now I see why Patty & Selma (The Simpsons) are such hardcore MacGyver fans.
@frozenbubble Please stop asking for remakes. Why would you want the same thing over again when the original is already perfect. A continuation of the series is a better idea, which is why the new series coming to CBS later this month is a prequel telling of a young Angus MacGyver. Check it!
