the art in this movie is just phenomenal
Apart from being cliche as hell, the whole show was very off putting, and had a weird vibe to it. Like a man wrote this fantasy about being a badass lawyer, and everything in the show felt like it was there to stroke his ego.
Also, the end of season 2 was so ridiculous I have to mention it. He won the case despite the murder weapon and the blood on the gloves, just by redirecting the attention to another suspect. Not to mention it's so repetitive, because that's exactly how season 1 also ended.
I went into this being very sceptical, but it turned out to be a very nice and fun surprise. The situations that the characters get into are hilarious, and even horrifying at times, and overall it managed to keep my attention span fully focused on the show, which is applaudable in our current era lol
There's so many things that amazed me about this movie, I honestly don't know if it's because I absolutely adore Tetris. One thing I can say that it definitely captured the Tetris spirit - so if you love the game, you will love this as well. Bonus relatablity points if you're from any post soviet country
The constant thrill, the soviet environment and the whole political situation in Russia at that point - it was all on point. I absolutely lost my mind during the car chase scene with Russian version of Holding Out For A Hero - it was SO on point, the cars getting pixalated, and the car fitting just right in the crack.
I was expecting this to be very cheesy, and it kinda was, but it was such a nice girl power movie that made me tear up several times. I think this is especially impactful for younger girls. Amy Poehler is a genius
