Overall I loved it. It was colorful and beautiful, the story was great. I wish we would have seen more of the different characters though? We didn’t even get to know some of them.
It was also very weird how Abuela‘s realization came so… sudden. The sisters should have had a moment with her. I don’t think Mirabel‘s words would have been enough.
I also think it would have been better if they wouldn’t have gotten their gifts back.
Personally I didn’t like the songs that much, especially the first two songs were just bad, melodically all over the place, horrible lyrics. I changed the language to Spanish for the rest of the songs, because I figured maybe they were written in Spanish originally? Anyway, it sounded way better, not so clumsy.
Honestly I feel like the acting was really really good. They truly felt like friends, it was very believable. It was an okay movie, I liked the ending.
Finally watched this one. In my mind it was always this great movie, because I kinda love the idea? But yes, the movie is not that good. Doesn’t make sense that you’re rich in a world with a concept like The Purge, but all you invest in is a pretty wall or something. Buy a freakin‘ Panic Room ffs.
Patriot Act combines my favorite things: comedy, politics and statistics. Hasan speaks about important stuff all over the world. Things you didn’t even heard of yet. Patriot Act is sad and funny at the same time and you can learn A LOT. I‘m so happy I found this show, really.
I knew what would happen, but it made me cry nevertheless. Very intense and emotional episode. The absolute best.
WTF is this? I mean, the movie builds tension and that‘s really cool. You think about what could happen and who‘s behind it all. But then... nothing. NOTHING happens in the ending. No explanation, it‘s just over. You could waste your time better with staring at a wall. I‘m seriously so disappointed.
Since I've seen ALL THE TRAILERS I was waiting for this. And I expected it to be amazing. It really is. I'm just sad, because the trailers almost told everything what happens in the first two episodes, but yeah. It doesn't only have funny moments (I guess it's just funny for those who know and love Miranda, it's a ... special humour :D), it also has really really sad scenes. I can't wait for more, so I'm watching it again. And maybe again.
I love the idea. It's so great. It would be the perfect tv show! The actors are awesome. There's gags, gags, gags all over. It's like watching a vampire reality show. And even the saddest moments in this movie are SO funny.
Quite entertaining and surprising end. Movie was not what I expected & not too good, but okay.
