As bad as me with a toolbox and electronics, this robot movie isn't very inventive.
Wes Craven did it first and worst with Deadly Friend in back in 86, but this iteration of killer-doll horror has all the imagination of a Raggedy Ann. It feels like it was made only for the marketing campaign, even if the team certainly struggled to find 3 minutes of trailer-worthy footage.
This was such a great show, it is one of my favorites from Comedy Central. Can't think of any shows coming out these days on this level of comedy.
Decent enough to pass the time. Kinda nice message in the end. Few laughs, especially if you're into Quebec humour.
Its amazing how bad a show can be with good actors.
The sad part is, that this could have been good if they had just tuned down the slapstick about 80%.
You know those shows within shows that are supposed to be a joke and really absurd? Like the stuff playing in the background of Rick and Morty with improv'd lines, or something in Family Guy? This show is what happens when you turn that into a full live-action TV series. It's okay for a few laughs if you're watching it with others.
For the amount of moments that the main characters are just reciting exposition at each other you're better off reading the script. That at least will save you from watching this obvious cash-in on the 'success' of RIPD. Only the lore (roughly) stays the same between this and the old movie. Other important elements, like humor and a flowing plotline, have been lost. There is no reason I could find to watch this movie. Highly skippable.
A mix between babadook and it follows, horrific, makes you doubt everything. I liked it ! The shots were pretty cool too
A complete snorefest and a disgrace to the V/H/S series. I only gave it one extra point for the coffin story, but even then, it's only for the first half. Otherwise, it's a disappointment through and through.
Definitely, the worst in the series. There was no need to make this too many years later.
Not the best film but a really nice ending to a series Kevin smith clearly cared a lot about. Stay for the credits to listen to him talk a little about the film, it was very wholesome.
Kevin Smith has got the gang back together for Clerks 3, but unfortunately it’s current era Kevin Smith that has seemingly forgotten how to make comedy. There are some glimmers here and there but Smith not only undercuts his own humor with bizarre wackiness but he does the same with his serious dramatic moments. The moments that feel special are when we step back into some of the scenes from the original with the original players, but that might be a testament to how good the original Clerks is and a sad reminder of how far things have fallen.
If anyone is an O negative please contact me I am losing blood fast.
I am 4 episodes in and each is worse than the last. The creators / producers can't possibly think that any part of this is worth watching, can they? It's so embarrassingly bad!
Charlie day as Luigi and Jack black as bowser. Suddenly this is one of my most anticipated films of the year.
Channing Tatum has officially reached that stage of his career.
People should really give this a chance. It is a much better CBS sitcom than normal and once the show finds its footing it is very enjoyable!
The build up of the movie is a bit of a mess, and a little cringey, relying a little too much on jump scares. However, there's definitely some strong material underneath here, with some good disturbing imagery and a well put together climax. In fact, the climax is what saves this movie, since the rest drags on a bit, and tries a little too hard to build a twist. In the end, it feels like this movie had too much time to fill, and enough interesting material to fill an episode of some horror anthology series, but not enough for a movie. In a more condensed form, the story would have been a bit cliche, but still thoroughly interesting, especially with the great use of effects in the climax (which were mostly minimal, but combined with Stephanie's great performance, really pulled things together).
Unusual little chiller. Takes its time to get going but once it does...hell hath no fury!
It seems to me that comedy shows like this have laugh tracks because they know real people won't laugh.
What even the fuck was that last scene about lmao. Why that woman alone? Was she dead or not? Why was it bright outside? One of the worst movies I've ever fucking seen.
I wanted to like this, but I don't. Every single hero character is excruciatingly annoying. There is literally no likable character to root for. The show had potential, but they let CW do what they do best... Turning TV shows into crap.
It's got a better production value than the typical CW show, but that's about it. The plot is OK, but the dialog is painful to sit through. The cast of villains are way more interesting than the cast of heroes.
I'm trying to make it through the season... Wish me luck
As this is such a blatant rip off of The Autopsy of Jane Doe, I'd like to do an autopsy of this film.
The Possession of Hannah Grace was riddled with clichés and suffered from an abundance of jump scares aggravated by a total deficiency of true horror. The film is dead to me from the complications I had caring about anything on the screen before me.
what..... a waste .... of my precious time ...
This is one hour and 20 minutes of people screaming eachother's names while running around in a field of tall grass.
Literally. Nothing else.
Fun to see the gang back together but now I know for sure that extra violence ,cussin, and titties can't replace the Captain.. rip brother
Hysterical!!! These folks never get boring
stupid funny : had it been 20 mins longer i would have dropped my score by a point or two. The characters held up pretty well too
If you don't like this movie, wait for next parts. They will be released in the following order:
Father iOS
Brother Linux
Sister Windows
Grandpa Cobol
Uncle DoS
Nephew Basic
Pet Python
Ruby on Rails
Aunt Symbian
Niece Unraid
Brother Java
NBC. Where mystery is on the episode that never aired.
The writing is shit, the acting is shit, plot is kinda intriguing but turns to shit.
