“Self defense mechanism from all that bullying…”
Wonderful Moira, just wonderful
Finally getting rid of Stefan/Valerie, not that I disliked her, but I think they stretch out too long the inevitable.
Bonnie and Enzo, on the other hand, are the ship I was not expecting and just love how they look together… please don’t ruin this for her.
Started a little slow, but soon warmed up to the three main characters and got completely glued to the screen. It’s an endearing story with peculiar characters that somehow mix so well together. Absolutely well executed and played by all three
It’s good, but not so great as I expected from the critics and awards. Interesting, fresh, with awful main characters that keep trying to believe they’re good people while making terrible decisions and piling up lies on top or more lies to their few loved ones
Entertaining family film, not so Christmas-y as I expected… but the musical numbers were astoundingly good!! By far the best
Better approach to climate change message, more integrated in the storyline with a purpose and a well-played out plot.
Still, this episode felt like a step down from the previous one that left me with a big hype… but I can’t complain. Enjoyable enough. And big applause for that close-up kiss between the astronaut and his husband, I liked their sub story
Best episode so far, of all the 13th doctor’s era. It was a huge change in this season: past lore, great execution, plot, future implications, character development and of course Jack Harkness!!!!!!
So many theories for Ruth… can’t wait to see how this turns out. Well done, finally
A little better than the previous ones, but not great yet. I feel like this season has not kicked off properly.
Good to see Goran as Tesla
Another weak episode. The climate change message is too loud, so the woke intentions surpass the storytelling and the result is not good.
A very poor season opener, first half was bad, this second episode has some good bits but some other very cringey scenes (laser shoes, ok for a laugh, not for several uses).
The return of the Master was a good surprise, but poor writing in general made this double episode boring
Great episode, but not for a season finale. It’s true it comes full circle with the beginning of the season, but it was a small scale arc. And absolutely unrelated to prior DW lore.
At least throughout the season there was character development for the companions, which shows in this episode. And the new doctor was awesome, every single minute.
Oh, it was a fun ride…
Ashley Park is bringing her Mindy’s vibe to this show. Love it!!
I laughed as hard as Dorothy and Blanche with Rose’ stories
Oh how I cried with the last 10 seconds of the episode.
“You’re not too much. My love for you is too much.”
Oh Johnny and Kate, I keep rooting for you two but also fear everything’s going separate ways in the end.
Not an easy movie to watch, with many unpleasant scenes. But so well played altogether… slow rhythm that never gets boring with the tension building behind. And of course, amazing casting choices.
I would really highlight Bill Skarsgard’s, Tom Holland’s and Harry Melling’s performances. And Robert Pattinson’s accent!!!
At least they wrapped it up pretty well. I wasn’t too happy with the future flashbacks throughout the season but the result was good
First decent episode of the season. I kept watching since it’s the last one, but not enjoyed the previous episodes
Getting weirder by the minute… I really love Lovecraft lore so I wanted so bad to like this show, but the story is just all over the place and full of messy twists that this early in the series, only put you off. I’ll keep watching, in case this big mess goes somewhere
I think I cried more this second time I watched it, after “Dos Oruguitas”… so moving.
From beginning to end, everything is so bright, the songs are amazing and it’s easy to let yourself get caught in the Madrigal family turmoil.
Never fear, Luci-Dan is here. Or is it Douchifer?:rofl::rofl::rofl::rofl:
The musical numbers are amazing! Liza shines with all her brightness as Sally.
The scenario and background of Berlin in 1931 makes it not so appealing for the rest of the story, but the main characters, trying to find themselves between love and sexuality, are very relatable.
Not to mention Michael York was dreamy back then!
Maybe it’s because I watched 80% of the TV shows and movies in 2022, but I enjoyed this ceremony much more than others.
Also, it had so many emotional moments. I was moved with Jamie Lee Curtis and Ke Huy Quan’s speeches and then seeing Andrew Garfield :heart_eyes: paying tribute to Sally Field was literally amazing
This episode is bananas! But sure as hell made me laugh :joy:
He’s full of stuffing, Rose!:rofl::rofl:
This episode was great for all four girls. I cracked laughing with Blanche and the ransom
Funnily enough, Tania, the most self centered character, actually shows concern for Portia. She measures her words and tries to warn her, in her own way with that conversation over breakfast.
For the funny parts, the emotional ones and the usual awkwardness, this was one of the best episodes so far
One of the few episodes since Olivia Colman is playing Queen Elizabeth where I actually sided with her and was rooting for her to prove her point. Not complaining on Olivia’s performance, which is great, just… On this stage of her life, it is quite difficult to find any sympathy for the queen
Gillian Anderson is amazing, shining as this despicable villain. The subtle pieces of humor in this episode were a brilliant addition to the usual tone
Every season I’ve had favorite characters and arcs, very influenced by the actors portraying them. This one, without a doubt were Margaret (again), Charles and Anne. Great development, greater performances
