That final Uhura, Spock and Kirk moment!. :vulcan::wink:
Brown Jovi…hahahaha. Livin On A Prayer, perfect song. And so Jersey. Love it.
For an explanation of her powers, it's like the writers were trying to figure out how to get as close to the Inhumans as possible without it actually being Inhumans.
This show has so much heart! You have to be predisposed to hating anything that isn't classic Marvel to not enjoy this. Moon Knight was breathtakingly beautiful and way out there story-wise, but I didn't latch onto it the way I've taken to Ms. Marvel.
This is how you take characters and stories that are new to the Marvel pantheon and get people who grew up with the Silver Age heroes and more traditional storytelling to care about them as much as Captain America or Iron Man. This is the kind if energy the entire MCU needs going forward.
New episides need to be added to seriesguide
i need to know when the next epsiode of star vs the forces of evil
"STARCO" NOTHING BEATS IT EXCEPT ITSELF
Best intro ever  It could have been shorter but it was fun to watch :ok_hand:
actually really unexpected, i was sosososo pleasantly surprised! for something that started off mostly as shenanigans, it delved pretty deep into some more serious themes and i found myself getting pretty emotional throughout. a very refreshing watch!
I don't normally like romance, especially in "kid" shows - but for some reason, this one was... different?
I really like the cuteness and the weirdness and the OST! omg
This show is the proof that cartoon tv series can have amazing, funny and emotional story. I will miss this show so much and cannot believe that now when I finished all seasons it is just over. Thank you creators for laugh but also for tears. I love this show.
Star is my favorite cartoon show and it showed itself incredible when I was just looking for anything animated to watch. And just for curiosity, am I the only one who actually shipped Tomco???
Star is one of the best drawings of today! the director is incredible and knows how to do mt well what she does.
Star Butterfly is my favorite Disney Princess.
star is absolutely adorable, and i love how the villain is a birdy!
I think this is my favourite episode so far. I love how the writers have successfully fit good comedy inside a Star Trek framework, without devaluing what Trek is about at all. The sarcastic Vulcan salute was probably the high point, but I also loved O'Connor's ascension with the smiling koala. And Boimler's com still being open when called to the bridge. And the executive poker game. And what the holodeck is really used for. Damn it, everything worked here.
Mariner is still my favourite character and I'm glad to see her needing to work along side her mother and the fact that it allowed us to become clearer on aspects of how Mariner can fit in on the ship. I still am looking forward to more time spend with Tendi and Rutherford, though. Tendi did get quite a bit to do here, of course, and it fleshed out her character considerably.
"Sen-soars." Fantastic callback.
This gives me straight Portal vibes. Like what Aperture would do to it’s employees to retain their secrets.
OK, three episodes in, I really like the POTENTIAL of this series.... (here it comes) BUT, (ahhhh) unless the writers have a long redemption story arc planned for Ensign Mariner, (which there were hints of in this one) they need to dial her annoying rebel level back below 11, or, at least avoid getting into the (current) rut of starting and ending each episode by showing how much of a bullying childish brat she is, fully taking advantage of her "privilege", knowing she is the Captains progeny, therefore, no one's going to shove her out of an airlock. Just my opinion......
Nicely entertaining episode, with several hat tips to, and direct mentions of TOS, complete with shirtless Commander Ransom filling in for Kirk while fighting a seemingly physically superior alien, and in the end contemplating an inappropriate (in more ways than one) relationship with a subordinate. (although, in the #metoo era, it could be an interesting exploration of that dynamic)
Laser graffiti removal....., coming soon to the Portland, or Seattle, or NYC area soon!
Important Safety Tip: Klingon's are NOT "all about that Bass"!
......STOP..., Buffertime!!!
This episode really gets into some complicated issues and nobody seems to have a good answer just like the real world. Can't wait to see how the finale plays out. One of the most thought provoking superhero shows of all time.
deep down I feel the season has gone a bit too quickly I hope they renew and do a slower pace for me it's the X-Men+Magneto such an important character to their story of fighting for equality which is applicable in any part of this world.I just hope they renew and continue coz the story is good and a lot..
Goddammit... This show just doesn't stop. Everybody wrong, everybody right. I understand motivation of every single character here.
Magneto be spitting facts throughout this series!
“Gods abandon those who believe in them”
Well, daaaaamn!
Also, extra credit for ‘Morph Smash!’ and the sound of a strike when Jean smacks down Mr Sinister in the bowling alley.
[8.8/10] So scary and so cool. I liked just about everything about this. The character designs were great -- especially the frightened but helpful monkey folk and imposing angularity of the were-bats. The animation was outstanding, especially in very physical moments like when the were-bats are straining to lift Fang off the ground. The editing is superb, with sequences like Fang trying to ascend the spider’s tower really conveying his devotion. And the action is outstanding, with some really great fights between our heroes and the raptors, the werebats, and the spider.
But what I like most is how the episode manages to convey the emotions of all these situations without using a single line of dialogue. You get the monkey folk’s fear of the were-bats and appreciation for Spear’s help in their franticness and returning the favor. You get Fang’s determination without how many times she tries to scale the tower. You get Spear’s devotion to his friend when he goes to such lengths to save Fang from the Spider’s grasp. And you get the tension and desperation when the two are racing away from the raptors and later from the were-bats.
That said, a close second is how resourceful and clever our heroes are here. Fang playing dead in order to get the were-bats to airlift him up to the tower is a smart move. Spear using a dead triceratops’ horn to fell the giant spider, and then using its web-line to repel down the side of the tower is some quick thinking. And the way the two of them manage to shake off the were-bats by getting them crosswise with the raptors they were skirmishing with in the opening is a tremendously clever and satisfying way to get away from both sets of attackers.
All-in-all, this one is great visually, full of smart moves, and even rife with emotion given the stakes and friendship at play. A new high water mark!
That was spectacular. They spent the whole night fighting.
By the way, what a good artist it is spear...
