Jesus fucking christ.
The movie itself is nothing groundbreaking- it's actually kind of thinly made for a documentary and leans perhaps a bit too much on emotions for my taste.
But being exposed to the details of this persons plight and struggle literally filled me with dread and anger as I was watching.
It's absurd. How can one of the biggest contemporary artists be reduced to a child with no personal rights and be transformed into a money making machine selflessly filling the pockets of the few people that were supposed to protect her?
How could the American legal system let that piece of shit father of hers completely destroy her life like that in front of our eyes?
Also what the fuck was her mother doing through all of this exactly?
PS - that Adnan guy actually seemed to be the most decent person out of all of the bunch.
Great screenplay: funny with a heart! Definitely worth a watch, especially if you like Diane Keaton.
Die hard in a shopping centre ..... What's not to like ?
That Daily Mail "journalist" is utterly despicable and somehow wilfully ignorant of his role. Solid documentary.
That was a lot better than I was expecting. The trailer didn't do it enough justice. I knew I'd enjoy it based off the trailer. But now that I've watched it, the trailer seems like it could've been a whole lot better. I feel like this movie will one of those movies that I enjoyed very much and the majority will nitpick at, and that's completely fine. I totally wasn't expecting what I'd call a twist, not completely sure if others will feel the same way, near the end of the movie. And the acting in that scene, after the twist was revealed, was fantastic. From both Mads Mikkelsen and Vanessa Hudgens. Especially hers. I was a bit surprised on how different she looks in real life as opposed to her appearance in the movie. She looks like a completely different person compared to her character. I actually think how she looked in the movie was more attractive than she is in real life, not that she isn't attractive outside of this movie. Anyway, I hope there will be a second movie as the ending did suggest the possibility.
"Do your thing coz"
oh god this was awful
oh my god whY
I love animations and absolutely love the minions. I laughed from the beginner to the end, the britain references were great, I might go watch it again.
Got 2-3 good scenes but otherwise...meh!!
It was better than I've expected after reading IMDB comments. And although we know the subject as it was filmed already many times, the ending is quite good.
This movie just made me feel ashamed of myself... for not knowing what to do with my life! AGHHHH When so many people have it worst.
WHAT ARE YOU DOING WITH YOUR LIFE!?
