I am not a sports fan. Full stop. That being said, Ted almost makes me want to be one. This feels like what I'd expect the good ol'days to feel like.
Side note: Extremely well written. There's a reason it's so popular. If you're on the fence, just do it.
Leaps and bounds better than the movies. Alan is the highlight of the show, and it's pretty clear. Other characters have a chance to grow, but with the way the show is written - taking us to a new location and story each season, we don't get much time to really appreciate the other characters. It's Jack's world - we're just living in it, and so are the other characters.
I liked the original - I like this better. It focuses on the relationship a lot more, which I think is a strength. It's not ground breaking, but it's also not bad. It's a decent spy show, with decent writing. They dynamic is more realistic than I thought it would be coming into it.
Was a fantastic show up until the start of season 3. Season 3 was a departure from how good this show was, a huge change in quality. It felt rushed, akin to GoT ending. The whole "it was in your head the whole time" was a slap in the face of fans who genuinely loved this show. If I could unwatch season 3 I would. If you love this show, do yourself a favour and skip season 3. NOT WORTH IT. Enjoy the show that it was, and keep that as your memory of it.
Sadly, this show has declined recently. It's run by incompotent EP's and Season 4 has the chance to be one of the WORST seasons of television to ever disgrace the silver screen. Was smart of Henry to jump out of this particular dumpster bin.
