i'm on episode 4 and still don't really know how i feel about this show:
The idea is great: a woman tries to improve her health by the conventional and not conventional methods; but the thing is she's not really trying at all, she basically gives up every day, so we don't see struggle or improvement, only complaints
Also, i'm not finding the characters relatable (maybe it's fault) and Liv is especially unlikable (she's rude, harsh and way too childish to the people who love her and that many times go out of their way to help her)
i'll watch the first season to the end, maybe i'll be pleasantly surprised but so far, it's not that impressive.

The House Detox

Many people on youtube were talking about this show and although it's long (each episode is around 90 minutes) it's very entertaining. Sure some things are specific to Korean culture but it has very good tips for organizing.
It's refreshing to see an organization show that uses the stuff people already have at home and doesn't spend money on shelves and pretty boxes.
The results look good and achievable!

What Not to Wear

Watched a couple of episodes but honestly didn't like it.
The hosts think they're being sassy, but are just mean to the people they are "making over". In the end of the makeover, the guests look just like everybody else: their personalities completely erased from their style (instead of teaching how to enhance their features or bring their quirks to the clothes).
What was really sad to me is that the guests (in the episodes I watched) were struggling with some sort of mental/emotional issue, like mourning or depression and the hosts just glossed over that like: "sure you're sad, your dad just died but that's not an excuse to wear that fuggly shirt ahahah"

Jamestown

It is very entertaining but it has a very big problem in my opinion: the character's morals, values and opinions are too "modern" for the time period;
In this century women had very few rights and the slaves had none so it is weird seeing the settlers defend slaves or poor women "talking back" to much more powerful men.
Equality of genders and anti-racism values are noble and important in the XXI century and I hope they will continue to improve Humankind in general ---- but we can't forget about all the struggles people (slaves, women, minorities,...) had to through to be where we are today. This shows glosses over that and it is a shame.

3rd Rock from the Sun

An oldie but still very entertaining. Sure some jokes are now not that funny and some references are a bit faded but still makes me laugh.
It has very clever moments and some nonsense humor bits that still make laugh. The characters are unique and very well though and it makes you think about society in a intelligent and funny way.
And while some episodes are dated in their way of thinking (I'm thinking especially the ones about the "traditional family is better", "being gay is funny" or "computers can't get better") others continue to be true: some things never change.

Definitely better than so many newer sitcoms: It's a classic! If you never watched, give it a try, it might surprise you.
