VIP2I read the comments and realized there are two kinds of people who watched this movie. Those who were expecting "Waterboy" or "The Wedding Singer". The other kind who just watched a movie without any expectations. I am the latter kind. I have watched plenty of Adam Sandler movies. I enjoyed this one. I didn't need the character's to be "fleshed out". At times, it did get silly. I think that was the point. This movie was silly, sweet, and about the joy of family/loved ones. I liked it. If you want to watch a movie that is simple, sweet, funny, mildly offensive at times, and heartwarming at times, check out this movie. Don't watch it with any expectations and you will not be disappointed.
