A perfect ending to a perfectly scripted and perfectly planned show.
I have to say the last minutes of this episodes shook me to my core
This season definitely should not have happened. While some scenes are good and the characters are still charismatic, it makes no sense to the story. Why should they risk their comfortable lives to plan a similar heist? Wasn't the whole point of the initial heist to not get attached? If someone was to eventually get caught, the others should hold no responsability for it.
Also, fuck Tokyo. The most despicable character I've ever seen on any tv show.
Okay, that was really cool. Wonderful twist!
"Mr Stark, I dont feel so good..."
Perfect finale.

How did I not see that? O.o
As soon as Mikkel open up that present and it was the book, I knew.
What the fuck.
What an awesome Twist!
Did not see that one coming...
And he killed himself, because otherwise he wouldn't have traveled back through time in the first place.
So he forced himself literally into Suicide... O.o
Poor boy.
At first I felt kinda sorry for Hannah...
At first. If I would have known that she was a bitch since, I don't know... always!
Horrible person.
I saw that Preacher and i knew something isn't right with him.
And then he told Mikkel he was Noah. It shocked me.
And then he was in the car. Same fucking age! O.o
Whaaaaaaaaaaat?!
"Ich möchte mich mit Ihnen über Zeit unterhalten."
I think we all whant to talk about time right now! XD
Brilliant Episode! Didn't expected this kind of complexity.
Love it.
ENDING IMO
I think , once they prevent the deaths and time-travel from being invented, Jonas'(Split Reality 1) and Martha's(Split Reality 2) universes(realities) are annihilated, the Scientist's "Original reality" splits/branches again, to form another "3rd" Split Reality which is the one shown in the end.
Since "Endings are beginnings and beginnings are endings or everything is predetermined and past/future can't be changed", this would make the most sense without breaking the show's rule because if the Scientist didn't try to invent time Travel, there wouldn't be 2 split realities and with that no Jonas or Martha coming to change the past, and if they didn't come, he would invent time Travel, a Paradox.
So the original reality still exists alongside the new 3rd reality. However Jonas and Martha are erased from existence since their universes no longer exist.
Hannah deciding to name the unborn child 'Jonas' was also a nice way to spare us a completely sad ending.
But hey who knows! The series is open for multiple interpretations.
Reese Witherspoon's performance was BRILLIANT! The finale was okay, I feel like we’ve got more questions than answers, but maybe they’re setting things up for a season two?
This was such a beautiful end to a beautiful series. This show really set the bar high and will definitely go as one of, if not the greatest.
This is too complicated, Germans!!!

Feels good to be right. At least kinda right.
I had Jonas and Michael in the equation, but Helge is the Stranger.
It may be just 50% but for such a Series I'm pretty proud about it. XD
Ulrich connects the dots. Glad he does.
Someone must have a clue in 2019^^
"Eine Reise durch die Zeit"
I want to read that book. :)
Mikkael really loved Hannah. Why else didn't he came back?
It was nice, that Jonas told her.
So Noah started it in 1953. And since then it's on a (kinda) loop.
Interesting. I was suprised, that the Room with the Wallpaper was down there.
I want to know what he is doing with the kids. And how many are there?
Do we know who the redheaded kid in the Room was at the beginning?
I don't think so. So there's that.
Reminded me a lot of "The Leftovers" Finale. Both complex shows with a lot of things happening (and a lot of stuff you don't understand immedialty), but at the end, you know what was always the most important aspect. Dark is a Masterpiece and the best Netflix best show.
Well it’s come to an end of the dark franchise and i can say I’ve enjoyed the dark head fuck Journey and it truly was some beautiful work.
Did it answer all my questions from the last two seasons, it did and it didn’t but what wasn’t answered was only small and not that important and paradoxes being involved it would probably end up not making sense and best letting it pass.
I recommend after watching having a look at dark wiki and looking up all the relations between all the characters because it will help a lot :)
Great book, great adaptation. Not all of the changes from the source material were necessary, but some worked quite well. I hope that this remains a miniseries and doesn't follow the Big Little Lies model by making a second season that ends up being a disappointing mistake.
It was a great show with great acting, but the ending was a little vague so it didn’t feel as a complete ending, but I wouldn’t want a second season, it just needed a few more scenes. I just read the book plot and it says that in the end Bebe returns to China with the baby (tho I don’t get how could she’ve gotten on a plane without the proper paperwork for her and the baby) and that Elena never finds Izzy and spends the rest of her life looking for her , so I think those clarifications were needed, especially if, like me, you haven’t read the book. Also I find it a little unrealistic that the Richardson kids would to that just cause they are mad their mom was mean? Like they had no reason, the only person who had a reason to be mad with her mom was Pearl, and she forgave her, so the Richardson kids can’t let go that their mom is too demanding or i don’t even know what cause Elena was a decent mom to the three of them, however that gave us a great scene and a great performance from Reese, so I buy it. And also it’s unrealistic that Izzy, a spoiled privileged 15yo, would just run away from the suburbs in a bus to go god knows where, I don’t feel like she has it in her, a kid who throws a tantrum because her mom asked her to wear tartan keds? Yeah I don’t buy that.
Masterpiece. Simple as that.
Writing. Directing. Cinematography. Casting. Acting. Soundtrack. Everything is perfect.
I'm going to miss the beautiful music montages at the end.
This is by far the greatest TV Show of all time. No other Show started amazingly, got better in the second season and finished even better than that in the final season. Absolutely phenomenal.
BOOORIIING !!!
If you see the names "Tarantino" "DiCaprio" "Brad" "Margot" you are waiting a wonderful movie. However, in this movie I checked my watch to understand "How many minutes did I waste with this movie". In the whole movie, nothing is happening. For example, you are seeing Margot Robbie for at most 10 minutes, and she is dancing or not talking. They just used the power of the names to attract people.
I have no words to describe this season finale. It was just amazing.
It was a Love story.
The series finale. It was a Love story....
One particular song is going to be listened to a lot over the next few days... :)
Phenomenal story, only I can't really buy Tripp participating in the arson. He would have talked the others down.
I know this had a definite ending but I would love it if this got a season two. Gripping storylines and great acting.
Everyone being so surprised at the “twist” has me confused. All the clues were right there when Ines completed the other nurse’s sentence, “I have no family” and then Mikkel showed up, because how can she be a grandmother to Jonas if she had no family and wasn’t Michael’s mother? It was glaringly obvious but still heartbreaking. Also, I just knew who Noah was going to be.
Beautiful series, even if it’s simple and obvious in its “complexity”.
Great cast, very good acting. Good style, it feels like hanging out with the guys in the 70s. However that’s all that this movie is - hanging out with them. There is simply no story. It feels like Tarantino stole my time :(
Great mini-series! I would love a second season though because it left so many unanswered questions!!!
I've been thinking of a name for my cat which will arrive in a couple of weeks. Ending the show that way I've decided now. Jonas it is.
So that was something.
What a CRAZY episode!! I was at the edge of my seat the whole time. The fact that most characters knew that the world was ending and yet only like four actually went to the bunker was absolutely annoying.
I had consider that Elisabeth was Charlotte's mother but then I told myself "That's just straight up something that happened in Futurama, they wouldn't go so far". And guess what? They went so far. Fry being his own grandfather walked so Elisabeth being her own grandmother could run.
This episode pushed to the limit everything, and I was totally into it (even though the Elisabeth and Charlotte thing was borderline ridicule). And then Other World!Martha appeared and it just... kinda threw me off. Like I suspected that we were gonna enter in multiverse territory eventually, but honestly? I was hoping that we didn't enter into that at all. I was hopping that, as heartbreaking and pesimistic as it sounds, that the past couldn't be changed, that we are all chained by time. It would be very bitter, but it's not like the show promised us sweetness. It is, after all, called "Dark". This multiverse thing changes the core of the show, and although it has been hinted, I'm not really into it (and also, they really just gave the actress a basic wig and said "there! Alternative universe look done!" Like camon' guys you can do better). Anyway let's wait to see how they handle it.
(Also and I really hope that I'm wrong about this but I feel that either this or other world Martha isn't gonna be related to Jonas and this whole thing it's just so they can get together without it being weird).
Anyway loved the episode until the last seconds, Bad Wig!Martha and the world thingy that introduced just wasn't my cup of tea (not that I don't like multiverse stories but for once just give me a time traveling story in which the travelers can't change anything). Nonetheless, I'm looking forward to the final season, which I hope will be as good as it's predecessors.
not a fan of love-related movies but it is much more realistic for a love-themed movie. that's the life itself. nothing less nothing more. "people should learn to split up" that summarizes the whole movie
Firstly I must say I rarely watch shows which are not in my native English, ie with subtitles but I am sure glad that I decided to watch Dark. This show is turning out to be outstanding. The atmosphere and music/score is spot on, grading and colour are superb and the acting is excellent.
However the story is becoming very engrossing and at the end of this episode extremely rather chilling, almost making the hairs on the back of your neck stand up!
The main unanswered question is wtf are keds?
I really, really, hope they get green lit for a second season. That cliffhanger made me more frustrated than any show has in a while.
